Drake's "Ye Must Be Born Again" Hoodie Has Fans Thinking He's Trolling Kanye West BY TARA MAHADEVAN Chicago-based journalist // @mhdvn SEP 15, 2019 https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.www.complex.com/music/2019/09/drake-ye-must-be-born-a gain-hoodie-trolling-kanye-west Brando Battise Media 1

Drizzy was seen in the hoodie this weekend at a Lil Keed show in Los Angeles. While some saw it as a sign of Drake letting go of his beef with Ye, others viewed it as the Toronto native trolling Ye’s spiritual awakening amid his Sunday Service series. Drake and Kanye have had a complicated relationship. This February, Drizzy spoke positively about Ye when the So Far Gone mixtape was released to streaming services. During multiple Twitter rants last December, Ye accused Drake of threatening him, sneak dissing him on “Sicko Mode,” denying his part in the Drake-Pusha-T beef, and more. Drake’s hoodie is part of a collection that Cactus Flea Market dropped in January 2019, the message more of a nod to a new year with a “fresh start,” Highsnobiety writes. The hoodie launched around the time of Kanye’s first 2019 Twitter rant, where he re-embraced his support for Donald Trump and the MAGA hat. Based on that, it’s definitely easy to make the connection.

Liam Hemsworth learned about his split from Miley Cyrus on social media, sources exclusively tell Page Six.

On Aug. 10, a statement went out from Cyrus’ camp saying: “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.” But that was news to Hemsworth, 29, we hear. Sources close to “The Hunger Games” hunk told us he was blindsided by the statement — and was in Australia at the time.

Pound the alarm! Nicki Minaj shocked fans on Thursday (Sept. 5) with an abrupt tweet saying she would be retiring from music to get a head start on her family life with partner Kenneth "Zoo" Petty. The retirement tweet has since been deleted. With the Barbz

ailing, Minaj later apologized for not taking her fans' feelings into account when initially breaking the news. "I’m still right here," the Young Money rapper replied to one fan on Twitter. "Still madly in love with you guys & you know that. In hindsight, this should’ve been a Queen Radio discussion & it will be. I promise u guys will be happy. No guests, just us talking about everything. The tweet was abrupt & insensitive, I apologize babe." Since rappers rarely ever actually retire, many in the hip-hop community were skeptical of Nicki's announcement, while others were heartbroken over Minaj stepping away from music and hanging up her mic. TMZ reports that the Queens native had made studio plans to record with artists in the coming days. The 36-year-old had told The Joe Budden Podcast that she was also working on her fifth album. Fans should get some sort of closure from an upcoming episode of Queen Radio.

Fisher is the Aussie tech-house DJ/producer riding the wave of a meteoric rise DAVE JENKINS (AVA HERNANDEZ) WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 2019 https://djmag.com/longreads/fisher-aussie-tech-house-djproducer-riding-wave-meteoric-rise Ava Hernandez

Fisher has leaped from being a virtual unknown to a star on the international stage. The Aussie DJ/producer’s rapid rise has come largely due to his massive crossover track ‘Losing It’, but his infectious enthusiasm and positive vibes behind the decks. His hit song had been the most played tune at Tomorrowland last year, nominated for Best Dance Recording at the Grammys, and voted as one of the biggest tunes of last year by seemingly half of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list. “Without those people in front of me, I ain’t s**t!” he says. “I love anyone who comes out to see me, seeing their reactions and entertaining them. That’s what I love. That’s my favorite part. I want to play my best set and make them happy. That’s what I’m all about: vibes. I love spreading that vibe and I love receiving that vibe. There’s nothing better than connecting with people who’ve got positive energy. I vibe off it and I love it. That’s

why I freaking love it. I do actually love it. And hopefully, it’ll continue that way for a long time.” .

The votes are in, and Kodi Lee is crowned winner of America’s Got Talent season 14. The inspirational singer from Lake Elsinore, California, who is blind and autistic, took out NBC’s talent series after a string of stirring performances at the piano. Early in the series, a flawless cover of Donny Hathaway’s “A Song for You” earned Lee the golden buzzer from judge Gabrielle Union, the first of the competition. He's been the favorite ever since. For his final show, Lee stunned once again with another rendition of “You Are the Reason," this time with British singer Leona Lewis at his side. Lee beat out a crowded field of musicians to win the $1 million grand prize and a headlining show in Las Vegas, slated for Nov. 7-10 at Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.

The finale featured performances from the likes of Detroit Youth Choir, who came in second place; teen singer Benicio Bryant; violinist Tyler Butler-Figueroa; South Africa's Ndlovu Youth Choir, young opera singer Emanne Beasha and others. Comedian Ryan Niemiller placed third.
