He also acts as a leader within the historical association "Heimatkundlicher Arbeitskreis (HAK) Waidhaus", concerned with the historical research of the markets history.
This is done in cooperation with the catholic parish priest Ref. Georg Hartl and also Mr. Josef Forster. As the founder and bandleader of the music group "OneWay", the last few years he also managed a part of the cultural life of Waidhaus and the region. It seems Ringholz is the ideal candidate for this vacant post. Fully integrated and sozialiced, especially in conjunction with the best of the Roman Catholic Church. Especially the very good relations to the Roman Catholic Church should be decisive, since the Roman Catholic Church with the election of Pope Benedict XVI. does a very active form of the new evangelization. In the market town of Waidhaus, this was mainly evident, the new evangelization is very active and appeared in the recent past, especially with a little funny-looking renaming of the Catholic Library Waidhaus. Simply the ideological designation was omitted and now the catholic library appears as (ideological neutral) library. For some years in Waidhaus also an ecumenical church for long-distance travelers on the BAB 93 is located. At the foundation, it has
been the catholic "Dreifaltigkeitskirche". Last year within a few months, the church gets the additional wording "Radwegekirche". Now Waidhaus is fully on the way of new evangelization. If in a few years the If, demographically necessary amalgamation of the the municipalities of borderland communities comes, it may be advantageous to have someone like Mr. Ringholz with the best connection to the Roman Ca tholic Church. With the former largest border crossing to the former Eastern bloc, Waidhaus is a vital bridgehead for intra-European cooperation. --------------------------------------Ultimately, we think it was a nomination which was issued at a meeting to assess the history of the market town of Waidhaus during the Second World War. The managing director of the market town, Josef Forster will retire in 201 6. Andreas Ringholz a wellknown citizen of Waidhaus, looks for itself as possible to hold this post. The last four years, he mainly has intensively with the history of his hometown Waidhaus. He founded the medieval group "Waidhauser Fähnlein", and also acts as their leader "Hauptmann Tumbky". In cooperation with his own, years ago new founded advertising company "Ringholz-Werbung.de" he did almost all official promotional activities of its clubs as well as of Waidhaus.
