Derby Dog Dash

The Derby Dog Dash is held Sunday, August 4 and Sunday, August 11. This beloved event offers all the competition and pageantry of horse racing on a much smaller scale. Canines under 25 pounds are eligible to compete. Get entry details and rules at SonomaCountyFair.com.

Wine Country Hat Day at the Races features a grandstand full of people wearing big, bold and beautiful hats all for a worthy cause. Tickets are $65 and includes Fair admission, a seat to the races, hat competition, wine, lunch and a no-host bar. Reserved tables for 8 are available for $600. Proceeds benefit the Sonoma County Fair Scholarships.

Karen Quest's Cowgirl Tricks is a fun-filled vaudeville style comedy western show complete with trick roping, whip cracking, music, magic and audience participation every day of the Fair. Godfrey the Magician Godfrey brings his fast moving magic cowboy show to the Barnyard Stage three times a day. Count on lots of comedy and audience participation.

Parent's Rest Station Look for the little red building in the Kids Area where you’ll find changing tables and armchairs just right for nursing; open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Also, be sure to pick up a Lost Kid Sticker for your child at any information booth and have them wear it. These remind everyone that the Kids Area is where lost kids and parents are reunited.
