Beci Orpin Is a Australian Graphic designer known for her unique vector based style which has earned her a loyal local fanbase. Her style is vibrant, modern with a touch of traditional aethetic, textures and chilklike innocence. She was born in the 70’s to hippie parents. For the first 3 years of her life she lived out the back of a land cruiser while travelling around Australia. During her childhood she discovered a passion for illustration, crafts and painting and has said that much of her
alternative upbringing influenced many of her works later in life. With a false start to teriary education she graduated finally in 1996 with a Bachelors in Textile Design. Right as of now she is continuing to work freelance and exhibiting her works internationally. She has said that before design she had spent a good 10 years developing her illustration skills and thinks that it is “crucial” to do so as it is the most useful skill you can have. For a few years now she has been represented by Australian Creative Agency Jacky Winter.
Clients Recently she has had a number of high profile clients. Some of these include mega-house fashion brand Sports girl in which she designed a number of items for their gift range/ novelties last year. Kit Cosmetics where she designed a window decoration, in store posters and display. Other notable clients include Beatbox Kitchen, Whitley, Fashion brand Gorman, Justine Clarke, Stonefield, The Hungry Workshop, Isetan, Neverfail Water & Nissan. Right now she is about to complete a brief for Urban Outfitters.
