Each summer you’ll spend four days a week in the classroom learning from world-renowned educators and clinicians. Our unique low-residency program brings you to Northampton, MA, each summer along with the many resident and adjunct faculty who teach in our program allowing for an enriching community experience.

What’s the best way to prepare for your future as a clinician? Immersive clinical placements with community-based practice hours across the country. With more practicum hours than any other program, we offer you the space to bring the theoretical concepts you learn in the classroom into real-world applications. Throughout the practicum year you’ll participate in small group seminars and 1:1 advising sessions to ensure you are supported and can continue learning deeply throughout your placement.

Wondering what you can do with a master’s in clinical social work?

We hear this all the time! The opportunities after you’ve earned your M.S.W. are seemingly endless. Many of our alumni choose to work in schools, private and group practices or agencies. Whether you are interested in abolitionist work or palliative care, we probably know someone who can offer advice and guidance as you take the next step.

Deadlines vary but we encourage you to apply by January 5 as a non-binding early decision applicant as this gives you priority consideration for both the geographic location of your practicum assignment and financial aid awards. The final deadline to apply is February 21.
