Northern Property Collection Autumn/Winter 2013

Welcome to the Northern Property Collection

Our history This year Smiths Gore celebrates 150 years in business in the North of England. Our office in Darlington opened its doors in 1863 to complement the London office, established in 1847. From its traditional base in rural estate management, the firm has expanded its services and network to provide national property expertise from 30 high street locations and 16 further offices on our managed estates. We are retained by major national organisations including the Church Commissioners, Crown Estates, Highways Agency and the Duchy of Lancaster, and offer the same high level of service to our private clients across the UK. Uniquely, we offer estate agency services across all the traditional counties of the North of England, supported by our capital offices in London and Edinburgh.

Andrew Turner National Head of Agency

We are able to offer genuine national exposure to our broad selection of properties through our linked office network, targeted advertising, website presence and very successful PR. Over the years our niche of selling individual properties, off a platform of exceptional marketing, has resulted in instructions to sell a wide variety of homes in both town and country, from cottages to landed estates, family homes to farms. The key to our success remains local expertise, underpinned by the strength and benefits of a well-respected and recognisable national brand. We hope that you enjoy this snapshot of our range of instructions, and very much look forward to working with you.
