OUR WRITERS

Here at Messenger, we love to see the groups of people huddled around our paper, the proud smile when students read articles about themselves, and the slight laughs as students make fun of our bad attempts at jokes. Our mission at the Messenger is to produce a quality newsletter that provides insight into SMCHS by featuring our own students and their accomplishments and goals.

SENIOR EDITOR BIOS JULIA JARAMILLO | LAYOUT EDITOR Long ago, the Messenger staff lived in harmony. Then, everything changed when the class of 2018 graduated. Only Anthony, master of InDesign, could actually do the layout, but when the Messenger needed him most, he vanished. A summer passed and Mrs. Stromme and Megha found a new layout editor, a socially anxious Filipino girl named Julia. And although her artistic abilities were “great”, she had a lot to learn before she could actually do anything. But Mrs. Stromme and Megha believed Julia could save the Messenger.

MEGHA BHARADWAJ | EDITOR-IN-CHIEF Mega has had a passion for writing ever since she was old enough to hold a pencil. She’s been a part of the messenger staff since she was a freshman and can’t believe her journey is already over. Her passion for writing comes from her desire to share her opinion with anybody and everybody who will listen, and she can’t wait to see where the Messenger goes in the future. She knows it will be left in capable hands And is so excited to see the underclassmen take over and make it their own.
