Wednesday 4th September: Meet the tour leader at 1330hrs at the Malta International Airport for check-in on your direct Emirates Airlines flight to Larnaca departing at 1530hrs. Upon arrival, your private coach will head towards Kyrenia in Northern Cyprus. Check-in, room allocation and dinner (optional) will follow before overnight.

Thursday 5th September: Today, after breakfast, join the tour leader for a full day excursion to Kyrenia. Stride up the honey-toned stone ramparts of Kyrenia Castle (entrance included), before heading towards Bellapais monastery (entrance included). Later head towards St. Hilarion Castle (entrance included). The stone walls and half-ruined buildings blend into the rocky landscape, creating a dreamscape castle plucked from a child’s imagination. Return to your hotel in time for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Friday 6th September: After breakfast, we offer you a full day excursion to the Trodos Mountains area in the Republic of Cyprus. This stunning mountain range provides visitors with a forested flip side to the coastal resorts and big-city clamour. In addition to the natural beauty of the landscape, the Trodos Mountains are home to a variety of postcardpretty villages with cobbled streets, terraced slopes and vernacular architecture.

Saturday 7th September: After breakfast a full day excursion to one’s of the island’s last true wilderness, the Karpaz peninsula awaits you. A Mediterranean rural idyll of rolling fields, olive groves and remote white-sand beaches licked by shallow turquoise water.

Sunday 8th September: Soon after breakfast join your tour leader for another optional excursion to Nicosia. Bisected since 1964 into Lefkosia and LefkoĹ&#x;a, Nicosia is a curious mix vibrant street-life and rich history. The splendid Selimiye Mosque (entrance included), once the Gothic-style Cathedral of St Sofia, lords over the city with its twin minarets added by the Ottomans. During your free time you can cross the no-man’s land from north to south at the Ledra Street checkpoint, where hectic bazaar stalls give way to fancy boutique windows, Turkish signs morph into Greek script, and street-side chatter switches to different sounds.

Monday 9th September: After breakfast join the tour leader for a day excursion to the beautiful coastal walled city of Famagusta. Winding lanes rimmed with terrace rows of houses suddenly give way to ruined Gothic churches, the most famous of which is the former Cathedral of Saint Nicholas. You will also visit the monastery of Saint Barnabas and the ancientcity-kingdom of Salamis. Later head back to your hotel for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Tuesday 10th September: After breakfast, enjoy your last day in Kyrenia. Take a much-deserved drink in the hotel’s pool bar, or head to Kyrenia’s old harbour (extra) and enjoy the local cuisine. You may also want to take a boat trip departing from the harbour. Later re-join the group for dinner (optional) and overnight.

Wednesday 11th September: After breakfast and checkout, head towards Larnaca airport for check in on your Emirates flight back to Malta departing at 1220hrs.
