Harrods

Harrods is the largest store in the UK with millions of visitors each year. With London being a fashion capital of the world, Harrods is important to its richness in fashion by selling haute couture and cheaper labels. It is an enormous tourist attraction for the many different shops, stores, restaurants, etc in it. As students, Harrods influences our learning by showing what the real market is like and how it is developing to cater to societies needs.


Exhibition road

V&A

Three big museums are situated on Exhibition road, they are the V&A, the Science museum and the Natural History museum. The museums are famous for their extravagant architecture and their intellectual exhibits. These three famous museums are an excellent source of inspiration and research development.

The V&A museum exhibits art and cultural objects from different eras, countries, and societies in history. Here, you will learn more about historical fashion pieces because of its vast amount of garments, jewellery, accessories, and embroideries.Therefore, the V&A museum is one of the best places for us fashion students to research and be inspired.

The science museum showcases how technology and science has developed through history and plays a role in our daily life. It displays the history of inventions such as the car and airplanes as well as offering many interactive and exciting instillations for kids and adults alike.

Londons oldest cafe

Soho is a popular attraction for the young Londoner. Soho’s main attractions are nightlife, cafes, and diverse sub-cultures. As a fashion student, soho is a key point in our studies for its multiple fabric shops and galleries filled with new ideas for further research. Soho has been named the artistic neighborhood of London for its underground artists influencing the area.




south bank The south bank of Themes is an area that comes to live during the weekend, attracting more than just the tourists going on the London eye. among the things to see are Borough market, a food market that is situated by London Bridge, Shakespeare s Globe Theaďż˝ tre if one is so inclined, Tate Modern that regularly offers exciting exhibition of modern art, Oxo deďż˝ sign center and a Saturday second hand book market along with a fantastic view over London.. it is a recipie for a fantastic saturday as long as the weather is decent
