1. What’s your fashion mantra?

I m a guy from a very small village sirohi (mount Abu) heritage tourist place. Photography my work. My profession, passion. Today i am professional photographer. Artists . Model in.fashion industry.. My onlyaim to motivate ot hers the peoples who wish to do industry artists. Photography is the most developing field in today’s world..... My one msg to the readers thet FOLLOW YOUR WORLD AND YOU DNT NEED ANY OTHER DRUG!....

Well, my fashion mantra is to Keep it simple, with a little bit of edge, You don’t need to overdress to look good. Simplicity is the real style 2. Why do you dislike about modelling? There is nothing to hide in modeling, I think there’s nothing to dislike modelling till now in my life.... 3. How do you prepare for modelling shoot? Good question, preparation begins with Planing, First Plan what you are going to wear...ill have some small meal and bring to Eat..because Sometimes when people are hungry, it shows in their facial expressions and they have a tendency to want to speed up the photo shoot. Speeding up a shoot will get you to your

food faster, but it will not necessarily get you the best photos. For the clients who have their makeup done, it’s always good... I wear different clothes who other people not wear it makes me different from others. This thing makes me stylish man.. its my thing By grooming, clothes, footware etc i prepare my self according to what kind of shoot. 4. Who is your favourite model and designer? Well talking about favourutes, actually there are many of my favorites but particularly my favourite model is John & dino morea. Because they both looks good, good physics and i love their fitness , its very tough to sustain good physics and the second one is manish malhotra the desingner.

1. What does ‘photography’ mean to you? Photography means the world to me. It’s not just about capturing moments or things in a different light but way beyond that. This has been the medium of my personal expression and creative gratification. Every shot has a story to it which exists as a reality or concept. Photography gives me the ability to capture that story through its mood, and then present it as I perceive it. It is my creative outlet and I find myself partly disabled without it.

2. How does black and white vs color play into your work? Do you find them to be totally separate beasts—or complementary? My preference on black & white or colour totally depends on what I’m shooting. They are quite distinct from each other in terms of depth, tone, texture, storytelling, etc.

3. In this digital world does analogue camera still charms you?

Pooraj Kapoor a 23 year old guy, Lernt photography from a well renowned photographer Mr. O.P. Sharma. As a film maker it has been a year now since he has started freelancing and has worked with several private firms, Norwood Greens – Palampur, Delhi Daredevils, Chennai Superkings, Silver Arrows-dealer for Mercedes Benz, Tata security systems etc. recently did a show as a photographer contestant on “NatGeo Covershot Mission North East” after being selected in the top 10 photographers from all over India - 2014 He was also felicitated by Mr. Amitabh Bachan for “best film” in the year 2013, for a 5 minute film that he made, and the same film was selected in the top six films of the prestigious film festival,”Cineshorts-season one by Viacom18”.

Analogue cameras are the real deal. They have an classic charm about it, an organic quality which only a few can understand and leverage. Analogue has an amazing colour palette and a dynamic array of detail in terms of shadows and highlights both, which lends an incredible look and feel to the frame. Moreover, there’s a huge scope of learning when you work on analogue because you have to be bang on about exposure, the frame, lighting and everything else.

4. What is it that you would like to give to this world from your work? A mirror… I would like to show the world how exquisite it is and how we are the ones spoiling it in one way or the other. Photography is my form of expression and it is the medium through which I can deliver any message in the most potent yet heartfelt way possible. Through this art form I want to take people to the vision I have.

5. What were the difficulties you encountered first starting photography? I have been blessed with a very supportive family that never questioned my offbeat choices especially when it came to my career. So yes, the learning curve has been

a bit steep but it’s indispensable and has helped me grow not only as a photographer, but also as an individual.

6. When do you shoot - do you plan it? Well, yes. Professional shoots are always better off if you plan ahead. I like to make myself comfortable and be familiar with the environment, and have an agenda ready before I start shooting. However, when it comes to wildlife/nature photography, it comes out better when spontaneous. In fact, it has to be in the spur of the moment and completely effortless. That’s the challenging part and also the most addictive.

I’d rather be with a very close photographer friend, but not in a group for sure.

8. Why do you take photos? Because it is the only way to capture and preserve time till eternity.

9. What are some tips/advice you would give to yourself if you started landscape/wildlife photography all over again? I think I’ll give myself some lessons on being more patient, because wildlife is all about waiting for that perfect moment which you should not and cannot miss.

7. What are your thoughts and 10. Do you take photos more for feelings about shooting individually yourself—or for others? (versus shooting with a friend or For myself of course. small group of friends) when out on the streets?

Saree is a classic garment that has been around for a very long time and it will continue to be around for a long time. But the style & design keeps changing which makes it unique & different. This is why it is a hot favourite among designers & their clients. A simple saree can look gorgeous & stylish if worn with the right accessory. This Saree collection is a fusion between the traditional and the modern art. It gives the collection an elegant appearance with it’s unique colour combination. The contrast blouse looks outstanding as the saree is plain but the pallu is rich with digital design & the border is bold & draws attention.

Clothes worn during the time of Eve were made up of leaves & barks. The elements Eve used to hide her body were only leaves. Ancient Vedic texts mentions clothes made from barks & leaves as “Phataka”. I have illustrated a sketch which takes us back in time to the era when leaves were an important part of our clothes. I’ve arranged the leaves in my sketch in a different way to make It look more creative. I have also used a mono chromatic colour scheme, tints and shades of green in an interesting way to give it a unique look.

No look is complete without the right accessories Apparel and accessory has always been my passion. i loves it because it’s ever-changing and styling people makes them evolve into somebody else. I loves the way certain accessory can change the entire character of person. Work generally involves using clothes to add depth of character. Every color you see, each flower you touch, every things u feel, each stone u throw, every breath you take will become an inspiration. There is nothing beautiful than this bouquet of creativity, where things fuse into each other, creating a magical feeling. Let the mind keep mixing it up so that the heart is always excited with the new blend that get created.

for women, men are not lagging far behind as they use sunglasses, wallets, shoes and more. Due to its versatility, accessory designing is here to stay.

An accessory designer creates accessories such as hats, jewellery, scarves, belts handbags and watches; all of the small details that complete a fashionable outfit. Jewellery and leather designing are a part of accessory designing. Fashion is increasingly becoming an all-rounder impact with more than just the clothes to give a trendy look. Accessory designers have the freedom to work with a variety of materials: from metals to leather and beads to satin while still using their creativity. The most followed fashion mantra one can dole out today is ‘wear what you feel comfortable in.’ But in order to make a style statement, keeping track of the latest trends is a must-do.

Of Orchids & More!

Radiant Orchid has been the colour of 2014. This vibrant, regal and enigmatic shade of purple suits all skin tones. The rosy undertone of the hue radiates on the skin and produces a healthy glow when donned by both men and women. Pushing off the neons, pretty and girly pastels like baby blue, pale lavender and subtle yellow have been the colours for the year. Another hue on Pantone’s list for the year has been the dazzling blue. Radical prints, animal prints and delicate lace work have also been hot this season.

Loosen it down!

Skinny jeans have bid adieu and the trend has been replaced by palazzo pants and straight fit pants. These high-waisted bottoms are not only chic and easy on style but also make one look taller and leaner. To add variety, there were the kalidaar variants and fabric choices that many fashion designers are offering.

Chop your top!

Crop tops have made it real big in this year. Girls have dared to bare this year in these chic and sexy mid-riff revealing, trendy crop tops. Bolero tops in various lengths, especially with asymmetric hemlines, are also a hot fashion statement. Boxy tops, boy jackets and bra tops are hot favorites among the daring lot.

Adding Colours to life!

Girls are getting adventurous with colours - be it lips, eyes or nails. Most of the brands are coming up with colourful options.

From Mini to Skinny!

Slim ‘n’ sexy pencil skirts kept getting attention this year and ankle-length skirts have raised high on popularity charts. Something that’s longer than a midi and shorter than the ankle-touch is the most preferred length.

Be Blunt, Be Pixie!

Short pixie cut & blunts have been the hot pick for women looking for a drastic makeover. Wide-swept-up dos are the popular choice to embrace for the casual and messy look that oozes sensuality and charm at the same time. For those who want to keep it subtle, good old braid is the best choice.

s a child, I dreamt of having a career in the glamorous fashion industry someday. Growing up watching movies like The Devil Wears Prada and Confessions of a Shopaholic, I was keen on working with the real Dior and Gucci someday. Not knowing what does one work as in the industry besides designing, I struggled for years to find a spot for myself which would match my qualifications and interests. A few summers back, I stumbled upon an internship which led me to my dream career of Fashion Styling. Interning with Fashion Stylist and Consultant Alia Al Rufai, taught me the core essence of a stylist’s job. I was exposed to numerous brands and designers, national and international, which only helped me update my mental fashion database. I also began to really understand clothes, something that I clearly hadn’t before. With each new garment in hand, my inspiration and imagination travelled the globe. I was observing every garment, every trim, every silhouette, every little thread. The most important role of a stylist is providing the right mix of clothes and accessories to her celebrity client for any appearance or event. Sourcing from designer boutiques, to malls, to the streets, in rain and sun, day and night, all across town was is a daily routine. One also masters the art of lifting multiple heavy weighing shopping bags at a time. But none of this matters when your model is behind the camera. It all boils down to the photographer taking the right shot and your clothes adding something more to that shot. The story can be portrayed strongly with the right clothes and accessories and can create a strong impact on the viewer. Styling for this impact is something that I learnt through my internship. As a fashion styling assistant I was fortunate enough to work on magazine covers, print ads and television commercials. Being on set for the first time was extremely overwhelming. But I felt like I belong here - with the lights, the cameras and the of course, the clothes! The energy, the excitement and the confusion on set is something that is completely impeccable. To be in that kind of atmosphere makes work like play. As part of my college internship, I got the opportunity to intern at StyleCracker where I styled the lead cast of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania for the movie promotions. Working as a freelancer for Berger Paints’ television commercial was also a learning experience. Styling celebrities like Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt, NargisFakhri, VarunDhawan and Shilpa Shetty in this short span of time is something that is beyond words to describe. Meeting and networking with various talented people like designers, directors and celebrities I gained valuable insights about the industry. Many wonder if this job is as glamorous as it sounds.Yes, it is. But styling is much more than just putting clothes on a person. It is understanding the personality, hiding the flaws, highlighting the positives and creating something beautiful and unique from something so simple. It requires you to be on your toes everyday minute of every hour. It will only demand the best of you at all times, be

it shooting on weekends or mobile lunches. And yet I believe I am extremely fortunate to have found my dream job in the dreamiest industry of the country. I clearly see all the glitter and gold beneath the many layers of hard work, stress, long hours and effort of styling. If you are as passionate, you could see it too!
