SALAMANDER PUMPS’ E-SCHOOL TRAINING PLATFORM

Developed in conjunction with CIPHE, the e-School helps installers and college students learn more about Salamander’s products, their applications and best practice for installation, including their range of AccuBoost accumulator tanks.

Modules feature a range of interactive activities, from technical animated videos, games, interactive imagery and multiple-choice tests. Participants will need to achieve a score of at least 80% to pass but may have as many attempts as they like, with their highest score being recorded.

FREE ONLINE TRAINING

Toilet solutions manufacturer Fluidmaster has launched a new free online training module focusing on toilets and urinals. Perfect for apprentices involved in the maintenance or installation of washrooms, bathrooms or public toilets, the training (called a CPD* module) is available now and investigates important themes including product choice, sustainable water management, public health, installation regulations and laws. The online training is free and takes about 20 minutes to complete. Find the whole module at:

*CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is a term used to describe learning activities for professionals which can help to develop and increase knowledge of particular subjects.

Wilo UK Area Sales Managers are available to offer tailored training sessions at your college. These include a full overview of the Wilo product range, pump systems, fitting environments and explanation of pump curves. The sessions provide technical information and give an overview on a range of subjects. Presentations can be tailored to a timescale which suits your needs with Area Sales Managers on hand to answer any questions you may have.

THE WORCESTER BOSCH DIGITAL TRAINING ACADEMY

During the pandemic, Worcester Bosch launched a range of digital training resources to support installers across the UK.

The Worcester Bosch Training Academy used Facebook groups and Skype webinars to ensure that installers and apprentices across the country had access to resources and training whilst the company’s Training Academies were closed. As restrictions lift Worcester Bosch is continuing to run its online Training Academy with all resources open to apprentices.

Joining the Worcester Bosch Facebook Academy group is easy: 1. Search ‘Worcester Bosch Training Academy’ on Facebook. Click ‘Join Group’. 2. Answer the 2 questions, ‘What is your role within the industry e.g. an Apprentice’ and ‘Who is your college or learning provider’.
