Online privacy regulations relations Snijder B.V. The General Data Protection Regulation (referred hereinafter as: the ‘GDPR’) has been applicable to the processing of personal data since 25 May 2018. What is the GDPR? The rules to be complied with by anyone who processes personal data are set out in the European GDPR. In addition to protecting this data well, everybody has to grant permission explicitly for the use of his/her data for a specific purpose. Collecting and using personal data when a business relationship is entered into We collect the following personal data of our relations that use our services or if a relation opts for making this personal data available: 1. Salutation; 2. First name, initials and surname; 3. Business telephone number; 4. Mobile telephone number; 5. Email address(es). Purposes The personal data of relations are recorded for the following purposes: • For entering into and maintaining the relationship; • For making quotations and order confirmations; • For recording project contacts when an order is executed; • For sending mailings; • For informing and for executing services.
Snijder B.V. uses this data to be able to provide information by email or telephone and/or to be able to provide services. This personal data is not used for any other purposes than those for which the relation has submitted the personal data. Retention term Personal data and documents that are relevant from a tax perspective and/or that are part of the administrative obligation we have as a company to retain records (e.g. quotations, order confirmations) are retained for seven years. Contact information is retained for two years after the last contact. Rights: If a relation has submitted personal data to Snijder, the relation has the right to inspect this personal data and to withdraw, change, supplement or delete the personal data. Filing complaints You may have a complaint about the way in which Snijder processes your personal data. You can file a complaint with the supervisory body. In the Netherlands, the Personal Data Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) is the supervisory body with respect to the processing of personal data. Amendments The privacy statement as described in this letter was drawn up in October 2018 and can be amended.
