Our journey is the roadmap to the way community can be defined, shaped and engaged to become enduring. Experienced not only individually, but collectively. With the world increasingly aware of the fragility of the concept of community, Sunland is drawn towards the ancient Japanese fable of Kintsukuroi: the art of repairing pottery with gold and appreciating that it is more beautiful for having been brought together. Kintsukuroi is an allegory for the finest qualities of community — cooperation and reciprocity, manifested through interconnectedness.
