MARKET OVERVIEW THE SNOWMASS SUN
Snowmass Village is a tight-knit mountain community, with a yearround population of 2,967 nestled beneath the second largest ski area in the country. Snowmass, one of Aspen Skiing Co.’s four area mountains, consistently ranks high in ski and snowboarding magazine reader polls. Its three conference centers and large hotels make it popular for group business, and it is just a few miles away from an airport served by three major airlines.
THREE AMAZING FACTS!
1 2 3
Snowmass ranked No. 9 on Ski magazines list of “Best Ski Resorts in the West” in 2013. Two new hotels are expected to open in 2015. Called “America’s best family mountain” by Travel + Leisure.
After stalled development during the recession, Snowmass Village is poised for sustainable, positive growth in the coming years. That will draw new businesses and more visitors as infrastructure, resources and lodging continue to expand.
