…present our 11th season
with four subscription concerts, each evoking in a few hours the distinct moods of Baroque music. Our season opens in October with an autumn’s evening of Musick From the King’s Court. Our Winter’s Eve concert follows in December, highlighting the traditions of the solstice. In January, our continuo cellist Michael Lawson leads an intimate concert of cello music to warm the depths of winter. In March, we celebrate the return of spring with the return of our largeensemble Concerti Grossi! We perform our concerts on Saturday evenings in the beautiful historic spaces of either St. Paul’s Episcopal Church or St. John’s Lutheran Church in downtown Sacramento; we perform our Sunday matinées in the light-filled Stegmann Hall at Rudolf Steiner College in Fair Oaks. We have added a Friday evening concert in December to accommodate our growing audience.
