RAMP Tech Redster features the first ever RAMP Tech. Turning at top speed, RAMP Tech automatically lifts your heel by increasing the ramp angle by up to 10°. This pushes your bodyweight forward over the center of your ski, allowing you to maintain your momentum and carve precise turns on hard groomed slopes with less power and more control.

AS KIDS GROW, SO DO THEIR SKIS Getting kids interested in the best sport in the world is easy when they’re able to control their skis. It’s why our kids' range uses Bend-X Technology – so kids can bend their skis no matter how light they are. And because when kids grow the way they ski changes, we’ve created a range that adapts as sizes go up: as the ski length goes up the width, V-shape and camber changes. So each ski size has a shape that suits the ability and age group riding them.

BEND-X Technology A special flex zone in the binding area enables even the lightest kids to bend their skis and get strong contact with the snow. This makes initiating turns easier even with little power from little legs.

WHAT ROCKER ARE YOU? Wherever skiers love to ski the most, rockers precisely tailored to the terrain will improve their performance. Which is why all our skis boast the advantages of our Rocker technology. Simply put, a rocker is an early rise in the tip (and sometimes the tail) of a ski. In all our skis, this rocker is combined with traditional camber for outstanding edge-hold and stability. Generally, the more rocker there is, the more performance and floatation you get in powder, and the more maneuverability and versatility in any snow. While the more camber a ski has, the more grip and performance you get on hard terrain. As well as our four specific rockers from last year, this year we’re introducing a new Race Rocker at the top end of our range.

The result is unique Atomic technology across all skiing elements and playgrounds.

Doubledeck 3.0

RACE ROCKER

RAMP Tech is our new performance technology for Redster. When you turn at top speed, the ramp angle under your heel automatically increases by up to 10°. This lifts your heel up and pushes your bodyweight forward over the center of your ski. So you can maintain your momentum and carve precise turns on hard groomed slopes – with less power and more control.

The third generation of our hugely successful Redster Doubledeck technology. Innovations include a new free-gliding upper deck to increase stability and dampening, softer connectors at the front to make turn initiation easier, and stiffer connectors at the back for killer acceleration.

A new rocker shape with a very slight early rise in the tip that is ideal for hard pack. Its camber provides extra-precise edge grip, while the rocker means easier turn initiation and no unwanted edge-catching. For increased safety at high speeds.

Our Nomad and Cloud skis both feature ARC Technology. This technology means the ski has only one mounting point in the center of the ski – the Anchor Point. This frees the ski to flex naturally like a bow, resulting in perfect traction and smooth, natural rides with less effort.

Skis like our Vantage and Backland include an ultralightweight Titanium or Carbon insert that runs the length of the ski like a stabilizing backbone, minimizing weight and adding a ton of strength to the entire construction.

An early rise either just in the tip, or in both tip and tail. A rocker that’s super versatile, providing performance on all snow conditions and any terrain, both on and off-piste.

PISTE ROCKER The perfect rocker for prepared slopes. Its camber offers extraprecise edge grip, while the slight early rise in the tip means easy turn initiation. The combination provides great stability.

Thanks to our technologies like Live Fit and Dynashape, our boots instantly adapt to your feet. And now our new Memory Fit even memorizes your foot shape for a permanent personalized fit.

Boots can make or break a day. So we always look for ways to make our boots even more comfortable. We’ve added 3M™ Thinsulate™ to keep feet warm. We’ve also made our boots lighter than ever. We use plush linings for the women’s range and constantly make stepping in and out even easier. We want wearing our boots to be a pleasure, not a pain.

Performance means different things in different types of skiing. For example, Racing it’s about speed so we add Carbon Spine for extra power. Touring it’s about boots that help you climb as well as they help you ski, which is why we invented our Free/Lock System. Remove the liner from the boot and place the shell into the Atomic Memory Fit Oven for five minutes (at a preset temperature of 117°C).

Atomic Memory Fit is an advancement in heatfitting technology that takes fit, comfort and performance to the next level. And because it’s a faster process and available on two of the market’s top selling boots, it’s a great addition to the fitting service you can offer your customers.

With Memory Fit all three elements of the boot adapt to the foot – shell, cuff and liner – and memorize the entire foot shape. Expansion can be up to 6 mm in total forefoot width and up to 10 mm in total ankle/navicular width. The result is a permanent and complete anatomical fit for your customers.

Take the shell out of the oven, insert the liner and let your customer step into the heated boot onto the Memory Fit Cooling Mat. Close the buckles on the loosest setting. Then ask your customer to hold still for two minutes to allow the boot to adapt and memorize their 117° foot shape.

Memolink is our special plastic additive that has been developed to work within Atomic boots. Memolink improves the moldability and stretch characteristics of our plastics and guarantees adhesion during and after the Memory Fit process.

Memory Fit Cheat Sheet

Remove each liner from each shell. Place shells in Memory Fit Oven, close oven door, and set timer to 5 minutes. *Optional step: place Memory Fit Pads on customer’s bare feet to help create more room around sensitive/problem spots on each foot. 3. Using Memory Fit Gloves, carefully remove heated shells from oven after 5 minutes. *Do not allow customer to touch the boots, as the hot plastic and buckles can burn. 4. Carefully insert each liner into each shell. 5. Place boots on Memory Fit Cooling Mat and help the customer step into the boots. 6. Once in the boots, close the buckles on a setting that provides minimal tension and gently close power strap. *Do not buckle with tension as this can warp the plastic where the buckles are mounted. 7. Have customer stand still for 2 minutes, not flexing nor walking in the boots. Normal standing allows the shell, cuff, and liner to shape to the feet and legs. 8. After 2 minutes, place a Memory Fit Cooling Pack on each boot and have the customer wait motionless for another 5 minutes. 9. After 5 minutes, remove Memory Fit Cooling Packs, undo buckles and power strap, and have customer exit the boots. If Memory Fit Pads were placed on the feet, remove pads at this time. 10. Ensure the boots are closed properly and tell the customer not to ski in them for 3 hours to ensure complete hardening of the Memory Fit Plastic. After 3 hours, the boots are ready to be skied.

WALK TO RIDE First of all, WTR stands for Walk To Ride. It’s been developed to make walking in your boots easier and less clunky, without losing performance out while skiing. There are two parts to the technology: WTR Grip Pads for boots and WTR compatible bindings. With WTR Grip Pads, the sole of your boot is rockered in the toe like a touring boot. This makes walking really relaxed and natural. But the extra benefit is that WTR Grip Pads also work with DIN Alpine bindings – as long as those bindings are WTR compatible. WTR compatibility is also certified by the TÜV, so our WTR boots and bindings are completely safe, just like any other DIN boot/binding combo.

All our boots feature an Asymmetric Liner Construction (ASY). It’s the most anatomical liner construction on the market, and the best for supporting your feet while skiing. It features an asymmetric tongue, toe box, collar shape and high-quality lining materials, all geared towards creating a better fit and more comfort than ever.

There is no such thing as an ‘All Mountain’ or ‘Touring’ footshape. Different people have different footshapes – ranging from narrow to medium to wide – regardless of where they love to ski. Firmer fit The number one thing for first timers and intermediate skiers is to have boots that fit comfortably. As skiers get better, that fit can get firmer and more responsive. From Silver upwards, many of our liners now feature 3M™ Thinsulate™, the world’s best-known insulation. The higher the liner, the more Thinsulate it has. This means you now get ThinsulateTM on Redster Pro W, Hawx 2.0, Waymaker, Live Fit, M-Tech and Overload. We’ve also added Thinsulate to all our Kids boots, as little feet get colder quicker.

All our liners are heat moldable for a personalized fit. Different liners have different amounts of heat moldable foam, labelled on the tongue: T1 has foam in the ankle, T2 in the ankle and side, T3 on the ankle, side and tongue.

3M™ THINSULATE™ INSULATION We’re working in partnership with 3M to create the warmest ski boots ever made. As a big first step, we’ve added this world-class insulation to many of our liners. Specifically, we use Thinsulate™ Platinum all over our Platinum and Gold liners to surround the whole foot. And standard Thinsulate™ in the toe box of our Silver liners (where people get cold first). How it works: The more air a material traps in a given space, the greater it´s insulating value. The microfibers in 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation are far finer than any other fibers. It means they trap more insulating air in less space, even when wet – keeping feet warm and responsive, even in extremely cold and damp conditions.

On Redster and Waymaker, carbon-reinforced areas of the cuff and shell provide increased responsiveness and power transmission while maintaining feel and sensitivity at the front of the boot.

Live Fit These zones automatically adapt to your forefoot shape providing instant comfort, improved feel, better blood flow, warmer toes and happier feet. Featured on all Waymaker, Live Fit, Overload and Tracker models.
