W E LCO M E TO T H E NEW SEASON

CRAIG GERTENBACH Brand Manager The continued growth of SUP – as a sport and a lifestyle – should really not come as a surprise. It is by far the easiest to access watersport of all time, with a broad range of users varying from professional wave riders, downwind racers & long distance record breakers; all the way through to yoga & fitness enthusiasts, or families & kids just having fun at the beach or lake.

T H O M AS

All of this – from just a board and a paddle in their hands – it is true simplicity with maximum enjoyment.

OS C H WA L D

I am really pleased with the great feedback and success of our Composite SUP collection. Our reputation for quality, consistency – and focusing on a lower number of models to complete the range – has led to a growing number of happy customers. Our new foilboards are mixing things up on the water – and the new crossover sport of Wing Foiling is already making a real impression this season – further increasing the number of people getting away from their daily routines and engaging with nature. Our Inflatable collection also continues to bring newcomers to the sport, providing great access /  usability / transport friendly solutions. A RT H U R

It goes without saying that performance is built as default into every one of our products, yet our motivation comes from building boards that will allow you to enjoy the stoke and progress in our wonderful sport, no matter what level you are at. So, wherever you find yourself on the water this season, I hope you enjoy the 2020 range!

COMPOSITES

I N F L ATA B L E S

We made many refinements throughout the composite range, in our never-ending quest to increase performance and deliver boards that will exceed your expectations.

Stand Up Paddleboarding has now become more accessible and even easier to store and transport, thanks to our big inflatable range and new bags.

Our exciting foil ranges have evolved again with features to boost performance in steeper waves, while maintaining their ease of paddling to catch and ride even the smallest swells. The Sky SUP is also ideal for learning to Wing Foil. By reducing overall widths we have made significant improvements to the top speed and efficiency in our Falcon, Blitz and Ray – yet thanks to a blend of many other subtle changes – stability and ease of use are not compromised.

We introduce a new 13'6" Ray Air Touring Premium, for the larger adventurers or those who want to carry more luggage or supplies. We developed the new 9'6" Rapid Air with R&D input from legendary whitewater SUP paddler Dan Gavere Keeping it big, our new Fly Air XL replaces both previous models with a more efficient shape that can accommodate up to 7 adults – for the ultimate board meeting! And talking of friends and efficiency, the new more handy Fly Air Fit Platform S is designed to connect groups of up to 10 boards in smaller pools for SUP fitness or yoga sessions.

Sky joined the Boards & More family in 2004 as a team rider and enjoyed a successful competitive career that spanned over 15 years. During that time, Sky became deeply involved in building and developing surfboards, kites, hydrofoils and SUPs – Some of the best sold kites and boards in the market over the past ten years are a direct result of his work in R&D. Sky attributes his ability to test gear at the highest performance levels together with other world-class riders as the key to his success as a designer and thus continues to push his riding level across a wide range of water sports. Sky develops boards and hydrofoils on his custom-built CNC machine just a stone’s throw away from the world-class testing grounds of Maui’s north shore.

9'6"

We developed the new 9'6" Rapid Air with R&D input from legendary white-water SUP paddler Dan Gavere. The outline was redefined, and combined with a special scoop rocker line featuring more nose and tail lift to effortlessly absorb waves and rapids. our dedicated foil surfboard. A more curved ‘surfier’ outline with increased rocker and a kicktail make for easier take-offs and reduces drag in steeper waves; while bevelled rails and a pulled in nose with deep double concaves makes touch-downs more neutral and forgiving. The new 5'11" size is perfect for both prone surf beginners and advanced Wing Foilers.

The Sky SUP is (also) more performance orientated, and just like the Sky Surf, it is now even easier to catch even the smallest waves or rolling swells. Higher rocker stops the nose from sticking and frees it up when paddling into steeper waves – as does the step-tail – which also maintains volume for paddling but reduces length for quicker release. All sizes are perfect for learning Wing Foiling. The 6'11" size is also available as a cross over SUP / WS mast track edition. All Sky SUP’s have optional footstrap inserts and are supplied with 2 footstraps.

A L LWAV E Thicker overall volumes, a slightly more rolled deck and thinner rails – combined with a narrower straighter outline – helps stability while paddling, and also increases acceleration and hold on the wave. The single concave to vee bottom shape adds drive – especially when on the front foot – and a winger tail increases manoeuvrability; helping it feel more agile, sporty, and smaller underfoot.

ST Y L E M AST E R One length, two widths fits into the classic 10'0" longboard style and official SUP longboard class. A new rocker line makes the Stylemaster ride much smoother and faster on the wave, with a very smooth transition and gradual increase in turn-ability when stepping back. A flatter deck shape makes it better to stand on and more stable, and thanks to a new rail profile, it is more forgiving when nose-riding.

The Ray and Diamond Touring benefit from the development of our raceboards, now featuring a narrower width combined with a highly efficient rocker line based on the Strike. More stable in the waterline with a slightly recessed deck, this shape tracks perfectly in both flat water and chop. One shape (12'6" × 28.5") is available in two construction options to suit all riders and budgets.

direction, and was achieved by looking at things in an entirely different way. Rather than

Built entirely without

taking a performance construction and trying to make it more eco-friendly, we went the whole distance and started with an eco-friendly construction and then developed its performance. The internal component of the Gecko Eco is made of closed cell ozone free EPS blanks. We then add a layer of cork instead of PVC onto the deck, and as an alternative to Carbon fibre: Flax fibres are woven together to create a mesh material, which is then laid over the cork – giving the fine finish that can be seen on the deck of the board. For the base we’ve replaced PVC with an FSC certified wood veneer, sourced from responsible forestry. This veneer is what gives the Fly Eco its visually striking natural matt finish. The entire board is coated and laminated using sustainable Bio Resin, a product we’re using throughout the entire Fanatic range.”

ZERO EMISSIONS M i c h a e l Wa l t h e r Since 2008, Michael is pursuing two goals with his projects. With his extreme adventure tours, he wants to highlight the possibilities of climate-friendly technologies and demonstrate that it is often a matter of will and not of skill when it comes to achieving goals – on both board development and in climate protection. In 2018 Michael was paddling to the edge of the glaciers in Greenland to raise awareness for climate change. He was following “The Great Route” from Aasiaat to Ilulissat to find out more about the life on the rough island in the past and in the present. This trip showed that we have to act, to protect this unique northern region and of course our whole planet, highlighting how radical climate change is already here. In May 2019 he did another project called “Emission-free through SchleswigHolstein” where he travelled across Germany’s northernmost state via SUP – 700 km. He did that all for a good cause – to raise awareness of the need for clean water, essential for our planet’s survival. In 2018 he went down the river Salzach, accompanied by our river SUP ambassador Oliver Heldt. The Salzach runs 225 kilometers before flowing into the river Inn. Pascal started his tour from the source near the Salzachgeier to demonstrate how the river changes on its way. In July 2019 he visited several schools in Bavaria to demonstrate awareness towards our water and environment. With 30 Fanatic SUPs, SUPing was a big part of this programme with over 1000 students enjoying the experience and learning more about sustainability and the role they can play in safeguarding our Planet for future generations. In the meantime, Pascal has left his full time employment to dedicate his time and effort to saving the environment with many exciting new projects to come. STA N D U P F O R S A F E WAT E R Thomas Oschwald During August and September 2019, SUP adventurer Thomas Oschwald from Switzerland paddles from the North Sea up the Rhine to the Tomasee at 2 345 meters above sea level. He travels for 3 000 kilometers and is on the water for 2 – 3 months. His tour takes him through 6 countries – all for a destination that is actually located only a few kilometers away from his home. On the first 1 600 km long stage to the mouth of the Rhine, the adventurer wants to deliberately move away from the clean spring water. In this section, he will experience first-hand what it means when clean drinking water does not simply bubble out of the tap. A water cleansing system for bottled water forces the adventurer to get along with the water that surrounds him. At the same time Thomas Oschwald would like to collect money on his tour for people who cannot go the way to clean drinking water. Thomas has already done several SUP micro expeditions and is always in search of new challenges in sports and everyday life, he keeps pushing his limits. His inner conviction is that it forces him to face all the big and small challenges in life while he breaks out of the everyday rhythm and strides out into new worlds. As the Foiling revolution continues to bring surfing to the next level, our dedicated foil surfboard – the Sky Surf – has also evolved to give you a massive boost in performance, even when riding the smallest waves or ocean swells. With its compact dimensions, generous volume and channelled bottom shape, it is direct to paddle and tracks easily, making catching waves easier than ever. A more curved ‘surfier’ outline with increased rocker and a pronounced kick-tail reduce drag further during take-offs, or when carving hard on steeper waves. The bevelled rails and pulledin nose with deep double concaves makes touch-downs more neutral and forgiving.

The Sky SUP is our 100 % dedicated foil SUP designed to maximise your fun – even in tiny waves – and to give you the longest rides of your life! Everything about the compact Sky SUP has been optimised to make it as easy as possible to catch waves. The compact dimensions, thick bevelled rails and channel bottom give stability and allow it to paddle straight and free; while the recessed deck and stance give great leverage and control over the foil. This year we boosted the performance with higher rocker, refined outline with narrower nose, and added a step tail to reduce drag when riding steeper waves and increase efficiency when pumping onto the foil. All sizes are also ideal for Wing Foiling.

What are the changes in the new Sky range? The new boards have evolved quite a bit from last year. They have much more rocker overall and a more pulled in nose outline which helps a lot when taking steep drops as the nose and rail are much less likely to catch. The bottom shape has also changed from a deep single channel to a slightly convex bottom which we found to be more forgiving, faster and easier to break surface tension when lifting off. The deck shape has a more dug out concave shape that helps anchor your feet to the board and give you maximum leverage over the foil. We also have an angled-up step tail that allows the board to fit into a much tighter transition in the wave without catching and allows you to easily angle the board up for early lift-off. The new boards also paddle much faster, so it’s easier to catch more waves.

I developed the Sky SUP range on Maui over the past year. We have great conditions all year round on Maui for testing foils and foilboards and I am luckily also able to gather great testing feedback from our visiting team riders like Arthur Arutkin, Airton Cozzolino and our USA sales rep and mad dog river paddler Dan Gavere among others. What are the main design differences between a regular SUP / surfboard and a foilboard?

Where and with whom did you do the testing for the Sky SUP range?

O

We aim to make our foilboards as compact as possible while still be easy to paddle, so they are much shorter than a regular board, which has a lot of benefits when you are Foiling. This short length fits in the wave a lot better,

particularly because you are often riding smaller waves on the foil and a short board fits more easily in the tight transition of small waves and gives you more freedom to maneuver within that tight space. A short board also means that you don’t need to run up and down the board to position your feet over the foil and makes take offs much simpler. The shorter length makes the board a lot less physical when it comes to pumping to generate lift from the foil. Our SUP foilboards have a 45 degree bevel on the rail which has a couple of functions; It keeps the rail up and out of the water when you are doing a banked Foiling turn. It also creates a sharp point, which gives it a better release when hitting the water and reduces the wetted area resulting in a softer touch down. Because the board is designed to foil, it doesn’t need to have all the engineered flex characteristics of a regular planing board but it does need to be stiff and light, which gives a much more responsive and reactive ride underfoot. Can you describe what it’s like to Foil compared with regular SUP or Surfing? Foiling allows you to ride a really small board on a tiny wave and have tons of fun. It just opens up so many more places and conditions and you simply don’t need great conditions anymore to get you really excited to go Surfing! The sensation you get on even the tiniest wave or lump of water is that you have have all the power and speed you could ever want, which is something you only get in really good waves when surfing without a foil. Foiling really does make the undesirable Surfing days seem like the best day ever.

Assuming you can already SUP or surf, how much more difficult is it to learn Foiling? Once you know how to SUP or surf I think Foiling just adds a new dimension to it. It is a bit different, when you first start dropping into a wave and the board starts rising out of the water. It takes some time to get used to but it opens up a whole new world of possibilities and conditions. Particularly having a lot more fun in smaller waves.

– 30 –

You don’t need to have any special strength or fitness. It’s mostly about technique and positioning on the board. When you are learning you can play a lot with foot positioning. If you stay forward on the board it holds the board down and as you step further back it encourages the foil to lift, so when you are learning you can stay forward a bit more until you are comfortable enough to step back and let it fly and eventually you will find your sweet spot. Would a good foiler have a quiver of boards for different conditions or is it more about changing the foil? I would have one Surf foilboard and one SUP foilboard and then simply change the foil. Most people are going to buy these boards for smaller conditions, so one board is definitely going to do the job, but you may want to have a few different wings for different conditions. For example, one for steep waves, one for not such steep waves, one for downwinding or whatever. In terms of versatility of the SUP foil equipment, do you find there is less need for an extended range of kit when you compared Surfing, Windsurfing, Kiteboarding …? And if so, does this help concentrate your efforts in R&D? Basically the way the R&D process works is like this: We are in the water every day and we want to be on the best equipment possible

in all conditions. We design the gear we feel is needed to cover the widest possible range of use so that riders like ourselves will always have the right equipment to have the most fun in any given conditions. For you, what is the deciding factor between going for a SUP foil session and a surf foil session? I like to mix it up, but for me it all depends on the spot. I really enjoy the feeling of flying over the water on a small surf board because it’s the ultimate feeling of freedom, but the SUP gives me much greater access to a variety of waves that are difficult to prone paddle out to on a small board. The outer reefs on Maui are perfect for Foiling and there’s no one around but they are pretty far from shore, so I usually take the SUP when I go there.

2

2

so it really crosses over into the testing we are doing across all of these sports. We are able to use our Fanatic Aero surf foils, windsurf foils and even kitesurf foils for wing Foiling together with the Sky Surf foil and Sky SUP foilboards. The wing allows you to launch in places that would be impossible to launch a kite and gives you freedom to carve and ride waves in a way not quite possible with a windsurfer or kite. It doesn’t replace any of these sports, but is a great addition to your quiver of fun toys!

How excited are you now that Foiling is sitting comfortably in the mainstream product offerings in the industry, and seems to be accepted and understood by a much broader audience? We can confidently say now that Foiling is here to stay. Foils have extended the range of existing sports like Windsurfing, Kiteboarding, Surfing and SUPing and has now even sparked new sports like open ocean downwind Foiling and wing foiling. I’m excited to see where we can take it next! Everyone is talking about Wing Foiling these days – what’s Fanatic doing here – and is that part of your Windsurf Foiling division, SUP / Surf Foiling or is that more Kiting? I’ve been having a lot of fun Wing Foiling lately and there’s a lot of interest in the market for sure. The wing is essentially a handheld sail with a lightweight inflatable structure like a kite and has a rigid boom like a Windsurfing sail. It’s a hybrid of Windsurfing, Kiteboarding and Foil Surfing all rolled into one

The AllWave is designed for intermediate wave SUPers looking for a stable and easy paddling board to catch wave after wave, whether it’s clean overhead walls, or small and choppy.

Inspired by classic longboard style Surfing, the beautiful Stylemaster Bamboo is our nose-rider SUP, allowing you to express your style on the wave with your toes hanging loose!

This year we made marked advances to the shape – that when combined – significantly enhance the stability and paddling, while at the same time increase manoeuvrability and waveriding performance.

Easy to paddle with insane glide, the classic outline means that no board is more efficient at catching waves. The wide nose with high apex rails makes nose- riding a breeze, and we refined the rocker-line to allow the Stylemaster to ride much faster with endless flow on the face. This also produced a super smooth, gradual increase in turn-ability when stepping back towards the tail, where the thin surf rails will give great bite for more aggressive carving.

A slightly straighter narrower outline overall, mixed with increased volume & thinner rails; allows the AllWave to sit deeper in the water, making it more stable at low speeds and also increasing acceleration and hold on the wave face. The final addition – a new winger tail – boosted the turning ability, and makes the board feel much more agile, sporty, and smaller underfoot than it actually is.

Sardinia is an island in the Mediterranean between Italy, Spain, Tunisia and is south of Corsica. The Island offers beautiful white sand beaches, crystal clear water and amazing coastal drives. Sardinia is also constantly hit by swells, which makes it ideal for those in search of wave Stand Up Paddle havens. Sardinia was love at first sight for us; we really enjoy the nice people, perfect conditions and Italian food. We normally try to stay away from touristy places and go in search of quiet, friendly spots. It is also a great place for us to find a quiet beach to stay overnight with our

Mercedes Marco Polo van, go running, train and practice yoga. There are many Stand Up Paddle spots all over Sardinia, but the west and south have the pick of the bunch for us because we also like to Kitesurf and Windsurf in the afternoon. You have a vast choice of amazing beaches and bays to explore. You can go on beautiful flatwater tours and the coast offers easy wave conditions. Yes, the sand really is that white and the sea the bluest blue. Our favourite spots are as follows.

Glistening crystals of light dance upon the azure water. Gnarled olive trees provide shade for the pristine sandy beaches. Enormous marble columns protrude into the sky — contemporary witnesses to ages long past. Breathtaking mountain panoramas stretch magically over the broad country side. A farmer on his donkey whistles happily on his way home. Then, suddenly, a plane, with engines roaring, prepares to land. Hundreds of tourists pour out of its belly. The dream disappears. But I climb on my “Magic Carpet” and immerse myself in the hidden Greece with all of its empty beaches and coastlines.

P H I LOS O P H E R

Greece has long belonged to the biggest travel hot spots for those looking for relaxing and entertaining beach vacations. It is mainly the Greek islands that fascinate travelers year over year. It is a fascination that I, as an adventurer, can only minimally share. Beaches and coves plastered with rows of umbrellas and crowded bars, souvenir shops and restaurants show even the biggest dreamer that tourism reigns here in this country. It is a trend that will not be stopped and many sun-seeking tourists love it. For my partner Bettina and I, the tumultuous crowds were the reason for us to adjust the sails.

We asked ourselves what Greece was like back when Aristoteles searched for the meaning of life and being?

“I T IS N OT BECAUSE THINGS ARE D I F F I C U LT T H AT W E D O N OT DA R E. I T IS BECAUSE W E D O N OT DA R E T H AT THINGS ARE D I F F I C U LT. ” S O K R AT E S G R E E K

P H I LOS O P H E R

Straight to the point: We found it. Our gamble to discover Greece on our own with our Stand Up Paddleboards paid off and was a great success. Breathtaking cliffs let us feel small and fragile. Crystal clear water exposed new worlds deep beneath our SUPs. The fresh and healthy mediterranean cuisine charmed our taste buds. Empty coves and beaches were found far away from the sun-seeking masses and thundering party music. Greece showed us its most beautyful side and we could only begin to fathom how wild and pristine this land once was and partly still is.

O

U

R

I

N

G

But it was a difficult path. It was no easy task fleeing from all the tourism. We could easily spot the distant beaches that were easily accessible by car due to the rows upon rows of permanent umbrellas. But the idea that the beaches one couldn’t drive to would be empty turned out to be quite wrong as we saw a party boat anchoring in a beautyful cove. But as the saying goes: The magic is always in the detail. And so, we could ofteen immerse ourselves in the untouched beauty of Greece just a few hundred meters away from the tourist hot spots. “As a Natural Being, Man is bound to his Body. As a spiritual Being, however, he has Wings.” P L ATO,

GR E E K

P HILOSOPHER

Tourism, however, does have its advantages. We never had to carry much on supplies or lots of water with us, for example. We could always restock on food and provisions at a restaurant or near fishing village. We learned to appreciate that both worlds have their benefits. The knowledge of this lent our spirits the wings to discover and absorb the beauty of this country. Afterer three weeks, we came to the decision that an untouched pristine Greece does still exist. Not to be found on every corner as it was hundreds of years ago, maybe, but hidden in small fishing villages, secluded coves and elevated olive groves. Whether fully packed with supplies and provisions for many weeks or with a inflatable SUP spontaneous short trips, those who want to discover Greece off the tourist paths, can find that a SUP board supplies the perfect “Magic Carpet” for big and small adventures.

FA LCO N 14'0" × 24" / 14'0" × 26" Everything about the Falcon – our downwind race specialist – is about combining incredible Surfing speed with a supreme level of efficiency, control and stability to get you across the finish line ahead of the pack – every time. An evolution based on the boards that helped Arthur Arutkin become 2018 APP World Champion; we made significant advances to the design and performance by borrowing DNA from the Blitz. Slightly narrower overall, a straighter outline increases top-speed on flat water; yet – stability and control are still exceptional – thanks to alterations in the deck shape, rocker line, and volume distribution throughout the nose and tail. In the surf, you can effortlessly catch waves and maintain high speed gliding; and thanks to the refinements in the shape, kick turns are also easier, especially for lighter riders.

14'0 × 21.5" / 14'0" × 25"

Combining design cues from the Falcon and Strike, the Blitz is our all-round race machine that will get you to the finish line first – no matter what the conditions!

The Strike is our out-and-out speed machine, designed with only one purpose in mind: putting you on the top of the podium. The Strike is based on the boards that helped Arthur Arutkin become 2018 APP World Champion. The sleek, efficient design is quite simply the fastest board you can paddle on flat water.

Unfazed by aggressive chop, padding in huge surf, or sprinting for the finish on flat water; the Blitz inspires confidence and excels when the going gets tough. Its design is an evolution of the favourite boards of our 2018 APP World Champion Arthur Arutkin. Just like its race siblings, we reduced the width to improve speed and acceleration without losing stability. A straighter outline, pointier nose and rounder bottom shape further help control in choppy conditions or during drafting. Meanwhile, a slightly wider tail gives increased stability during turns and while stepping back during downwind runs.

This is achieved by combining generous nose volume & a narrow race outline, with a unique bottom shape – double concave up front blending to deep mono concave – which delivers smooth efficient gliding, tracking and stability. Subtle volume distribution and the recessed deck keeps the rider low, while the wider tail profile further boosts stability and ensures performance in chop and messy water conditions in experienced hands.

When we met ten year old Bobo and his dad Andrew for the first time during our photoshoot on Maui this spring, we could not believe how he was pumping around the lineup at Baby Beach on his SUP foilboard. The waves were small and he caught one after the other with the boundless energy that’s to be expected of a kid of his age. But he had confidence in his equipment and a strength and focus that made him appear much older. Some voices say Bobo could become Maui’s next big waterman. Let’s stay tuned! Bobo, what do you think of the new gear: I love it. All my Fanatic gear is really fast. I am into design on boards and I like the logo, its simple but it’s recognizable. It’s cool to have people like Sky and Ken who can make a dream to reality by creating boards and foils to meet my style and for them to be right here on Maui is amazing. You like to Surf, SUP, Surf Foil, Downwind Foil – we can see that you like to do it all! What's your most favorite style of riding these days? Honestly, I don’t really have a favorite. I kinda just choose what I am going to ride depending on conditions and occasion. One of my favorite things is to take all that I can load in my dad’s car and when I get to the beach, I switch it up depending on how I feel.

How did you get into SUPing / Surfing / Foiling at such a young age: I remember a Taco Tuesday hanging with our families and our friends the Claydon’s lent me a SUP board. I liked that it was easier to get into the wave. December 21st, 2017 was the day I opened my Christmas present, a new foil. I remember what I said exactly after hitting the water, “That’s so cool.” I have always loved water and Maui offers the ultimate water playground. Who do you look up to in sports? Kai Lenny. I loved watching how he was so good at so many different disciplines. It has been really inspiring. Airton Cozzolino, I think he’s the best SUP surfer in the world. I get my drive to be like them. If they can do it, then I can do it. What motivates you to progress in your skills on the water? I like goals. Like setting a world record, when I completed the Maui to Molokai as the youngest person to cross the Pailolo Channel on a foil and youngest person to complete the crossing, that was pretty cool. I would like to do an ultimate crossing one day, which involves many different crossings on the islands. I want to go to the Olympics. What motivates me most and my drive is to complete these goals I have that involve a variety of water disciplines. I am having fun so that motivates me and increases my skill. I also really like meeting new people, building relationships and making connections. I also sometime motivate myself with food. If I can do a new trick, I can get a Jamba Juice (… but don’t tell my dad ).

T

You had a chance to meet some of your new team mates on a recent photo shoot in Maui, what was it like to ride and work alongside well known athletes like Arthur Arutkin, Sky Solbach and Airton Cozzolino? When I first showed up, some of the athletes looked at me and wondered who I was. Thankfully, Karin gave me a Fanatic shirt. They looked like, Oh okay, but still who are you?” It was funny. It was super cool to surf beside those guys. They are so good and I got in the water with them. It raises my game. I really like how they ride and their style.

E

A

M

Do you have any advice for other kids who want to start Foiling but are hesitant? Honestly, I think it’s the parents who are more afraid. I think they should do it because its fun. Always wear a helmet and impact vest when trying new tricks or going at high speeds behind a boat. Use a kevlar filled paddle.

What do your parents think about your competitions and long distance challenges that you do? They are scared sharks are going to gobble me up. They are relieved when I make it and that they are super proud of me. Bobo’s parents: Bobo chases fun, that is most of what I see. He also has this incredible energy that needs an outlet and we are so thankful he has found such a love and a way to express himself in water. I think as he grows he will be able to give us even more words to express all that he feels and experiences in the water. For now, we are glad to be along for the ride. Steering when we need, but also letting him not be so tied to the harbor. He taught us that early on that he would need room and freedom. Some days that is easier than other days. We are so proud of Bobo.
