Apart from my software skills, I am also very proficient in the presentation of working drawings using the free-hand (pencil and paper) technique. I also possess additional crafting skills in BIM and modeling which has given me the edge over my colleagues at school. If given the opportunity, I believe that my training thus far will be fully deployed to give my contribution to your firm’s mission and vision. I also believe that I will have the opportunity to have the firsthand experience of the realistic design problems, contract management, construction and other fields of architectural practices.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Van Houten Library,
just finished my third year of training in Architecture at the New Jersey institute of technology. I am currently enrolled in the fourth of a five year program that will earn me a bachelors of architecture degree in 2015. In my three years of schooling, I have learnt various design techniques necessary to producing technical and architectural drawings. I am proficient in the use of many architectural industry available software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Revit Architecture, Auto cad and Rhino 3D.
Dominion Contracting Co.
I am seeking the opportunity to intern with an Architectural Design Practice.

his library design attempts to blend the Ironbound’s town scape with its landscape in a way such that the floor plates simply drape over programmatic spaces. In response to the multiple scales of visitor groups, planes are pulled and pushed to manipulate and differentiate between circulation spaces and programmatic spaces. The more open the space, the more comfortable the user is in the space. To emphasize the feel of community, an open plan with little to no full height partitions are used, leaving the visitors in a field of visual connections.
