He earned his status as an Actors Equity Association member by performing offBroadway in New York City. He earned his status as a SAG-AFTRA member performing as a guest star and co-star on several network television shows. He has also starred in several feature films which have had theatrical and VOD distribution. He has also starred in many short films which have received acclaim at international film festivals such as in Cannes, France.

AARON PAE KLEIN (Cpl. Jeffrey Owen Howard, u/s Weinberg, u/s Kaffee, he/him) is thrilled to be making his La Mirada Theatre debut. He holds a BFA in acting from the University of Michigan SMTD. Recent theatre credits include Junk (Power Center for the Performing Arts), Sense and Sensibility (Arthur Miller Theatre), Incognito (Newman Studio), Prodigal Son (The Actors Group). Aaron also received the 2022 Kennedy Center, Paul Stephen Lim Playwriting Award (runner up), the 2022 Avery and Jule Hopwood Drama Award (first prize), and the 2022 Dennis McIntyre Prize for Distinction in Undergraduate Playwriting. MICHAEL OCAMPO (Lance Cpl. Harold W. Dawson) Born in Miami and raised in Houston, Michael has always loved the performing arts. He began his acting performances at school events and church productions at a very young age. Since then, his career has given him the opportunity to star in studio feature films and network television shows. He can be seen in shows like “9-1-1,” “NCIS: New Orleans” and most recently guest starring in his own episode of “Law and Order: SVU.” A Few Good Men will be his first professional theatre production and he’s excited for the opportunity to work with a great cast and crew.

JAMES RIPPLE (Tom, MP, Sentry) A recent graduate of The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, James won the Margaret Gordon Award for Best Theatrical Performance. He has performed in theatre and television, in plays and shows (including Bad Roads, another play from school), and “The Bold and the Beautiful” (CBS). He is extremely grateful for this opportunity and would like to send love to his parents and mentors who have supported him in his journey.

He attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) and went on to study acting at the Atlantic Acting School in New York. This is his first time working at La Mirada Theater. CASEY STANGL (Director) is thrilled to return to La Mirada after directing Arsenic and Old Lace in 2020. Named 2019 Director of the Year by StageScene LA, she’s worked at theaters across the country including South Coast Repertory, American Conservatory Theater, The Guthrie Theater, Arizona Theater Company, La Jolla Playhouse, Everyman Theater, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Jungle Theater, Woolly Mammoth Theatre, Portland Stage and Cleveland Playhouse. Casey is Associate Artistic Director for Ojai Playwrights Conference, and she has developed new plays at the Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, Humana Festival, Pacific Playwrights Festival, PlayPenn and Berkeley Rep’s GroundFloor. Casey proudly serves on the Executive Board of SDC, the national labor union for stage directors and choreographers.

JULIA FLORES (Casting Director) Celebrating our 28th season with McCoy Rigby Entertainment. SHON LEBLANC (Costume Designer) celebrates 38 years designing costumes in California and nationwide. He has designed shows for The Fountain Theatre, The Colony Theatre, 3D-Theatricals, Odyssey, Matrix, Theatre 40, Hudson, No Ho Arts, The El Portal, Open Fist Theatre Co., Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities, Ogunquit Playhouse (ME), Sierra Madre Playhouse, The Rubicon, Actors Co-Op, Greenway Court, and Kentucky Shakespeare. Shon has taught Costume Design for the Academy of Art in SF, is a multi-award-winning Costume Designer, with multiple Ovation, Drama Critics Circle, LA Weekly and Garland awards and nominations. He is a partner at Valentino’s Costume Group, Inc., in North Hollywood.

KARYN D. LAWRENCE (Lighting Designer) is an award-winning theatrical and event lighting designer based in LA. She’s delighted to return to La Mirada Theatre after having designed the lighting for Arsenic and Old Lace (2019). CRICKET S. MYERS (Sound Designer) On Broadway, Cricket earned a Tony Nomination and a Drama Desk Award for her design of Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo. KEVIN WILLIAMS (Properties Designer) Recovering actor and LA native, Kevin has spent over two decades working as a designer, fabricator, and consultant for clients such as Walt Disney Imagineering, HUB Network, Red 5 Studios and Twentieth Century Fox among many others. Notably, he was the resident Production Designer for interactive theatre company, Delusion, for seven years: Lies Within (2014), His Crimson Queen (2016), Lies Within VR series (2017), The Blue Blade (2018) and Reaper’s Remorse (2021.) Kevin is the Prop Department Supervisor for UCLA’s School of Theater, Film & Television, and lives in Orange County with his incredible family. Proud member of S.P.A.M. MICHAEL POLAK (Fight Choreographer) has choreographed stage violence for numerous shows at La Mirada Theatre, including Newsies, Cabaret and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
