Summer Season at The Rady Shell

THERE’S NOTHING LIKE a summer concert at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park Since opening in August 2021, the San Diego Symphony’s outdoor home along the bayfront has established itself as a world-class concert venue and architectural marvel. The Symphony’s Conrad Prebys 2023 Summer Season kicks off June 30 with its Opening Night, featuring Music Director Rafael Payare conducting; and special guest, renowned trumpeter Pacho Flores. The Symphony’s packed summer lineup also includes a tribute to Aretha Franklin on July 2, featuring vocalist Capathia Jenkins; “Beethoven by the Bay” on Aug. 4; and the Tchaikovsky Spectacular on Sept. 1, ending with Tchaikovsky’s epic 1812 Overture.
