Chrysalis Go All In Poker Night

The sixth annual poker tournament to benefit Chrysalis, a nonprofit organization aimed at helping clients overcome barriers to employment and permanent housing, takes place at the Fairmont Century Plaza hotel in Los Angeles. Jewish Ukrainian immigrant and L.A. resident Peter Krasnow’s collection of colorful paintings, inspired by his Jewish heritage, are now on exhibit at the Skirball Cultural Center. The late artist’s post–World War II paintings were created as an antidote to one of the darkest times in history. skirball.org
