Midlands Land Events (MidLE) and Society for the Environment (SocEnv) are delighted to jointly launch the SILOtoSOIL tool, dedicated to fostering collaboration in soil management. Developed by MidLE, the SILOtoSOIL Tool highlights the wealth of existing soil related expertise, guidance, and publications available across different disciplines and locations. The tool serves two key purposes: 1) Identifying organisations involved in the soil discussion (through this SILOtoSOIL mapping PDF); and 2) Cataloguing soil- related guidance across sectors and locations (through the SILOtoSOIL excel database). By making these connections visible, MidLE aims to reduce duplication, encourage knowledge- sharing, and promote more efficient collaboration, which is a shared aim with the SocEnv Soils and Stones Project.
