SPLASH OF EXCITEMENT

The City of Edinburg has completed its highly anticipated Edinburg Municipal Pool House Redevelopment project. A ribbon cutting was held on Friday, June 23, 2023, and residents can now dive into a world of fun and excitement!

In a bold effort to provide residents with exceptional outdoor spaces, the City of Edinburg embarked on a remarkable journey—a twophase project—to revitalize the Edinburg Municipal Pool House. Originally constructed in 1954, the outdated structure has undergone a magnificent transformation, making way for a brand-new 3,665-square-foot building.

Phase 2 of the redevelopment also focused on creating a one-of-a-kind aquatic paradise— the magnificent ‘Pirate’s Cove.’ This incredible inclusive splash pad is designed to ignite the imaginations of young and old alike. Pirate’s Cove’ has thrilling water features, an interactive pirate ship, and an aquatic wheelchair ramp, ensuring everyone can join the aquatic escapades.
