Deep Roots and Beautiful Flowers at MXLAN 23 Festival

MXLAN 23 was the return of McAllen’s summer music and art festival celebrating young Latino culture. The event attracted thousands during its run from July 27 to July 30 at the McAllen Convention Center, featuring young and rising Latino musicians, artists, and chefs for days of live music, interactive art creation, a new mezcal & tequila experience, the Sabor a Mexico food festival, lucha libre, Oaxacan-style calendas, and the new International Economic Summit for business and community leaders. MXLAN 23 was also headlined by multiple Grammy-nominated and Latin Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Carla Morrison at a sold-out performance at the MPAC.
