CASA Rolls the Dice for a Cause

On a dazzling evening of July 29th, the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance transformed into a gaming haven. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) hosted its signature fundraising gala, “Casino for CASA,” drawing the community for a night of blackjack, roulette, slots, and poker. But this wasn’t just about games; it was about making a difference. The spotlight shone on Hidalgo County District Attorney, Terry Palacios, as CASA recognized his invaluable contributions. The glitz of the evening intensified with special guests, including Senator Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa, Amanda Hinojosa, and Hope Palacios.
