We sat down with Sara to find out a little more about her.

Now that the summer has ended and you’re back from the Hamptons, how have you been spending your time?

I have been fully immersed in creating my new collection, starting to travel more now that things have opened up again, playing tennis, and hiking.

As we head into the holiday season, what is it about this time of year in NYC that you enjoy most? Are there any must-visit places for you?

I love the fall colors in Central Park, I enjoy opera, and I’m very happy that the Metropolitan’s programs are back. I love going to museums and galleries. I suggest the retrospectives of Alexander Calder at MoMa and Jasper Johns at the Whitney.

As a designer living in one of the most eclectic and inspiring cities, where do you find inspiration?

In nature and architecture. I love walking around town and just studying the buildings of NYC. I believe that architecture affects our well-being, and good architecture shapes us and plays a big role in our happiness. My goal is to have my collections inspire the same feelings for others.
