Dear Reader, It's summertime! Naturally as a Leo I adore summer. Thank you for reading our newest issue of BIBB!

We had the pleasure of interviewing "Robbie E," professional wrestler; former Amazing Race contestant; and father of twin boys, Cash and Carter! Do you have twins? Check out page 36 for some amazing Road Trip Tips and awesome travel products for families. Our big plans... well, I'm writing this letter from the beautiful country of Russia. We traveled a long way from Connecticut to visit my in-laws with our 14 month old baby. Seeing them hold their grandson for the first time has been priceless. The last half of summer we will be relaxing at home spending time at the beach and pool... and hopefully fitting in a few day trips. Plus, we will celebrate my birthday in Mexico! I never took maternity leave so I'm so excited for a mini break!! Enjoy the summer and take time to be in the moment. Life is good and simple joys are most important. Some simple joys of our life: • getting ice cream on a hot summer night • listening to our favorite songs and dancing with our toddler on the pool deck (sorry, neighbors if you see our sub-par dance moves!) • going to local vineyards for wine tastings (we bring our son everywhere!) • petting the animals at a local farm and after choose produce from the farm stand • walking around the fresh cut grass after papa mows As always, if you like this issue, please share as this is how we grow! Are the twins identical?

Fraternal but at times look super alike.

How would you describe yourself as a parent? Are you a hands-on dad?

I am very hands on. My wife has a very important role at her job and at times is busy so when I’m not traveling I’m dedicated to them. I do it all!! Super dad!!! We love that it’s us taking care of them and not paid help!

Describe your parenting journey so far in three words: Fun, quick, and satisfying.

What are some tips

you have for parents of multiples?

Stay calm... It'll be OK... A baby crying isn’t the end of the world. Ya only have two hands. It’ll be OK!!

What’s the most surprising part of becoming parents? How much ya stop caring about yourself to make sure your babies

are fully taken care of. They are my life.

Do you hope your sons will follow in your footsteps and become wrestlers? Ya know, I get asked that a lot. If they want to. But it’s not something I’ll push on them. I found my way and I know they will find theirs. I’m already proud. They already are stars (on Instagram anyway)! @cashandcarterinc

Has becoming a father of two made you consider a career change at all?

Not at all. My wife and I are very positive people and we have been making it work just fine. We both have our dream jobs and perfect family.

What is one cool behind the scenes tidbit about wrestling?

That most of us that beat the crap out of each other are all really good friends!!!

Tell us more about Impact Wrestling: We’re on Thursday nights on PoP TV in America and Friday nights on spike TV in the U.K.!! I’ve been with Impact 7 years and love the company with all my heart!!

What does your family like to do for fun? Anything. We make it all fun lol. But we love watching movies, the beach and water activities on our lagoon (we live on the water)!

What is your favorite quote or rule to live by? If you’re gonna do something wrong... Do it right

TIP 1

To keep your supply up: Pump after every nursing session, even if you're only getting a couple ounces per breast. Consult a lactation specialist: Breastfeeding for the first time can be scary. There are a lot of questions such as, is my baby eating enough? How long can my milk stay out? Or, why won't my baby latch? Try to consult with a lactation specialist to get the answers to all of your questions. I also find that talking to other nursing mamas helped. Surround yourself with support: Whether it be your partner, your family, or your coworkers, surround yourself with supporters on your breastfeeding journey. Everyone from my partner, to my mother, to my boss has supported me on this journey, and it has made all of it easier. Use nursing sessions to unwind and connect: When you are nursing, try to turn the television off, put your phone down, go into an empty/quiet room, and connect with your child. Breastfeeding won't last forever, and it is one of the best bonding moments I have with my child.

Breastfeeding is a learned skill and takes some time to get the hang of - be patient with yourself and your baby. Ask for help help with breastfeeding and help around your home. Find your tribe - your community of supportive people who support you in being the parent you want to be.

JANA'S STORY Jana, a 17-year-old first-time mother from New York, lived in an apartment with her father, two younger brothers, and her 17-yearold boyfriend. Her Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) nurse and older cousin, who serves as a mother figure to Jana, educated Jana of the importance of breastfeeding. Jana wanted to breastfeed her baby, but also had to attend high school to graduate and offer her daughter a brighter future. Through the NFP Program, GOOD+ Foundation donated a breast pump (generously donated by Medela) to Jana. Jana’s high school guidance counselor has been very supportive as well and has agreed to provide her office as a private space for her to use her new pump. Road Trip destinations Old Orchard Beach, Maine

As you cross over from New Hampshire to Maine soon you will spot a huge sign on Interstate 95 that says, “Maine. The Way Life Should Be.” True! Maine is such a beautiful state with nice, down to earth people. There’s so much to do in Maine and Old Orchard Beach is high on the list of places to visit on your next road trip. Old Orchard is on the beautiful Maine Coast with a massive beach. Palace Playland sits behind the beach and guarantees fun for the entire family with its arcade, rides and more. Enjoy shopping with tons of stores up and down the streets and when you get hungry there are so many cool spots to grab a bite to eat whether it be a sit down restaurant, a quick bite to enjoy while walking around, or eating from a spot on the pier overlooking the surf. The entire family will enjoy OOB. Try the pier fries (hand cut French fries with vinegar is how I like them, but they have ketchup too). Lava Hot Springs is located in the southeastern portion of the state. It is almost a 13 hour drive from either Phoenix, AZ or Seattle, WA, and only 2 1/2 hours away from Salt Lake City, UT. Lava Hot Springs is unique in the fact that it is extremely affordable to come here for vacation. Stay for a couple nights to enjoy simplicity and small town fun. Your kids will love it! The KOA that we stayed at is just a short walk/bike ride to Lava’s World Famous Natural Hot Pools as well as to everything in this little town. We also were able to rent float tubes right here at our KOA at a discounted price! We just picked them up in town and down the river we went over and over. So much fun! Our first full day in Lava we spent at the Olympic swimming pool/waterpark. We all had a ball here and the kids loved their first time jumping off the diving boards and various platforms. The town of Wallace is actually listed on the National Register of Historical places and is located in the Bitterroot Mountains surrounded by amazing natural beauty. Wallace is in northern Idaho, not even an hour east of popular Coeur dâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;Alene, and just west of the Montana border. Wallace is right off the I-90 and is the perfect town for a fun and easy weekend trip. Why should your family head to Wallace, Idaho? Just 12 miles east of Wallace is the Hiawatha Trail. The route is 15 miles long and includes 10 tunnels and seven high steel trestles. The views are simply gorgeous. The ride starts off through a pitch dark and somewhat wet 1.7 mile long tunnel. I would recommend bringing along a light windbreaker for this alone. The kids loved the thrill of this tunnel, while Mom pedaled her heart out and was very happy to finally see the sunlight streaming through at the end! Helmets and headlamps are necessary for the ride, but can be rented at the Lookout Pass Ski and Recreation Area where you have to go to purchase your tickets. Source: AmyCarney.com

The slot canyon, located on Navajo Nation land, was named for the herds of pronghorn antelope that once roamed the area long ago. There are two options you can tour- Lower and Upper Antelope Canyons. They are actually across the street from one another but are quite different. We chose to do Lower Antelope because it is longer, less crowded and cheaper in comparison. In order to go through the canyon, you must book a tour but you can do so by just driving to the parking lot and signing up. I spent 13 years within Gap Inc, leading Merchandising teams at Old Navy across all departments, genders and segments, with my longest tenure in the Kids & Baby divisions. I also spent time at Pottery Barn Kids, where I helped launch a startup omni-channel baby apparel line for the brand.

Do you have a favorite quote of rule that you live by?

I have always been inspired by a quote from The Gap co-founder Don Fisher: “Change or fail.” Retail constantly changes, and you have to be flexible and push forward. Honestly that’s half the fun.

What qualities do you need to have to be a successful mom or dad inventor?

I’ve learned that you have to embrace the chaos of balancing work, life and family. As a working mom I have tried to focus on striking the right mix of those things for ME. Sometimes I focus more on my family, sometimes I focus more on my work and sometimes I step away from both and focus on myself. I have found that the more I prioritize doing what I care about most each weekwhether it’s putting in a little more

time at work, booking a date night with my husband, making time for a spin class or leaving early to take my kids to their activities- I feel like a better person at the end of the day and in turn am a better mom, wife, friend, employee. Outside of that, I try to let go (both literally and figuratively) of what I can’t do or attend and solve for coverage. You can’t be all things to all people all the time so I try to focus on being good at the things I care most about.

What does your family like to do for fun? We don’t need much to have fun! Lately we have been really into family hikes and picnics. Just

getting away from our computers and phones and out on a trail allows us to completely focus on the kids and they love it. Plus they love looking for animals and finding new leaves and rocks to take home as treasures.

What’s in store in the future for FabKids?

We have so many fun new ideas cooking right now. We have grown so much in the two years I’ve been here it’s hard to believe there is more coming, but I feel like we have just scratched the surface of the potential of this brand. Stay tuned for some fun new initiatives as soon as this Fall!

Folding Clothes! Q&A with Alison Tringale, Co-Inventor of Tidy Snap How would you describe Tidy Snap?

Tidy Snap™ is a tool that helps organize clothes into a perfect roll and keeps them contained in that roll regardless of how many times they are shuffled around a drawer, bin or a bedroom floor. Tidy Snap™ is great for kids because they can do it themselves. It helps parents teach responsibility and relieves them from the mundane chore of folding laundry. It also reduces laundry every week because clean clothes don't get dumped in the hamper when kids 'clean up' their own rooms.

How does it work?

It is pretty simple, yet gives a perfect result every time. You place a clothing item on the board, flip the wings of the board toward the center and then use the Tidy Rod to roll the clothing. As you

roll over the Tidy Band, it will automatically trigger and Snap around the article, holding it in a tight, finished roll. DONE!

How did you come up with the idea? This product is truly is the result of our frustration with our own kids’ nightly ritual of picking out school clothes for tomorrow. Two of our daughters (5 & 7 at the time) would dig through their entire dressers looking for their favorite outfits. This left not only their dressers a mess, but clean clothes get tossed on the floor as well. Their rooms became a disaster every night, left for an adult to clean up by refolding and putting everything away again, because kids just can't fold, let alone neatly. If we made them ‘clean up' themselves, only two outcomes were possible; either they jammed everything back into

the drawer in a big ball (which often got the drawer stuck), or they put 'whatever didn't fit' in the drawer directly into the hamper along with the dirty clothes. We looked everywhere for something to keep the dressers organized, and there was nothing that could solve all our needs (keep clothes contained so they survive the riffling, allow kids to see more in their drawers AND easy enough for kids to handle by themselves). That is when we decided to design something ourselves.

Do kids think the Tidy Snap is fun?

Absolutely! Kids love the way the bands automatically snap around the clothing.

At what age can kids start using Tidy Snap? We have customers with kids as

young as three years old using it.

Has Tidy Snap changed at all since the first prototype?

YES! The first prototype was very complex. It involved a crank and was very big and bulky. We received a lot of feedback from customers that it was too large and complex. We have had several iterations of simplifying the design to get to where we are today.

What was your background before you started Tidy Snap?

I spent most of my career in supply chain both for large consumer products companies and as a management consultant. I also own an executive search firm that specializes in supply chain positions.

Do you have a favorite quote or life rule that you live by?

I don’t know about a quote, but one thing we try everyday to instill

in our kids is work ethic. We try to set a good example of what it means to work hard and achieve goals.

What qualities do you need to have to be a successful mom or dad inventor?

Tenacity (which might be just a nice way of saying “stubborn”). You will hear “no” and negative comments from a lot of people. When we were developing Tidy Snap™, we took all the feedback as an opportunity to improve the product rather than quitting. We learned this takes a special kind of tenacity because you are putting a lot of time and money into the pursuit. This is time and money that you could be putting into your family. We chose to think about the experience not as a “either or” situation but rather a chance to teach our kids about hard work, perseverance and the basics of running a business.

What does your family like to do for fun?

We live in a city that has more miles of golf cart path than road so we often take golf cart rides to go to dinner, ice cream, shopping, grandma’s house, etc. In the summer we spend most of our weekends at the lake where we wakeboard, tube, swim, etc. In the fall and winter we enjoy going to the local high school basketball and volleyball games.

What’s in store in the future for Tidy Snap?

Right now we are very focused on building awareness about this product. In the future we have ideas for other simple innovative household products that we plan to pursue.
