Code of practice

Throughout the world, people with disabilities are participating in, and contributing to, the world of work at all levels. Many persons with disabilities who want to work, however, are not given the opportunity to do so. This code addresses this and other concerns while providing valuable guidelines for employers in the management of disability-related issues in the workplace. The code covers work-related and non-workrelated disabilities and outlines responsibilities for improving the employment prospects of people with disabilities, particularly in the areas of recruitment, return to work, job retention and opportunities for advancement.
