CASA ROS The house was designed for a family of four members, and it’s a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home within 135 square meters. On the first floor the “B” axis opens towards the social area. Right next to the living room there’s an inner patio that brings in the wind and light for most spaces of the first and second floor. In order to bring together the social area we created the kitchen, family room and dining room in an open space in order for them to be connected. On the second floor the master bedroom is facing south, while the secondary bedrooms are facing north.

IGLESIA SAGRADO CORAZÓN DE MARÍA

In coolaboration with: Paola Cantú

The church is located in Monterrey, N.L., it has an expanding urban context. This project was developed to be part of the residential complex “Valle de Cumbres” by U-Calli. The volumetric design was inspired by the mountains surrounding the site. This exercise sought to show the church as the unifying factor between the residence and the amenities of the clubhouse. Located at the corner of two main avenues the project is presented to provide greater added value to the area.

INTERLACED HOUSES This complex has the intention that the green areas are propitiated within the site. The house aims to open to interior spaces, whose intention is to integrate these through public space. Where both the user and the building share scenarios of everyday life. The house is designed on two levels, generating the interlocked dwelling. The spaces within the units are designed so that the social areas are the most used by the users, leaving the private areas for only the necessary use.

CULTURAL CENTER TRES In coolaboration with: Jorge Burnes, Paola Williams, Mónica Rámirez, & Abraham Villanueva

Cultural Center TRES it’s a symbol of culture in the Tec community and in the country. It is a multidisciplinary space that boosts the artistic movement of Mexico and the world; thought of as a cultural territory with its own street, plazas, halls, work spaces, shops and workshops. It becomes a place to spend the day, interact with culture, and one another. The project itself generates meeting points, artistic and recreational nodes.

GREEN GROCERY In coolaboration with: Fabiån Sanhueza & Tom Moore The greengrocery’s main purpose is to adapt into three cities in Chile: San Pedro, Santiago, and Puerto Aysen. These three cities have very different weather, but by modifying the insulation layers of the walls, roof and floors it can still be functional in any climate, any day of the year. It includes a compost disposal for the rotten food that can be turned into heat for the cold weather. It has modular walls that serve to open and close the space, and to keep a better eye on the merchandise.
