The hues used throughout the home were all different shades of cool gray. But, when it came to the bathroom the owner wanted anything but cool.

The focal point is the bathtub, strategically placed on a pedestal to highlight its sculptural elements.

And the mosaic stainless steel and marble basketweave tile backdrop adds to the drama as well as hiding the shower.

But according Perla Lichi the home’s interior designer the shower really shouldn’t be hidden, “The oversized walk-in shower with its jets and rain shower features makes it more like a car wash,” she said.

“The size of the bathroom is really what gives it the wow factor, but the red tub is the cherry on top.”
