The design is adaptable to various sale/leasing strategies, ranging from extra small office 100-200 m2 in size space urgently needed by small or newly established enterprises, small square office space 300-500 m2 in size popular among small enterprises, medium office space 800-1000m2 in size providing good working environment for medium enterprises, and even large office space 1,500-2,000m2 in size that may occupy the whole floor and can be occupied by large enterprises. In addition, super office space appx 6,000m2 in size is additionally provided for future needs; diverse office space and indoor/outdoor environment will enable this project to become the most popular office building in Qianhai.

Vertical Horizontality - Qianhai 5th Pocket towers Qianhai will be the face of Shenzhen and PRD seen from the sea; it will be the new commercial center of the city and the first point of entry for many people coming to the Special Economic Zone of Shenzhen. Therefore Qianhai will form the reference skyline of Shenzhen which will compete with the world famous skylines of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dubai and New York.

Коллаж-диаграмма передает идею, картина передает образ The 5th Pocket Tower development is at the edge of this skyline and is directly visible from sea through the opening towards the inner bay of Qianhai; it can be seen as the special end of the skyline pocket. However at the same time it needs to create the transition to the intermediate landscape zone with green and water and the next pocket beyond. Therefore the development needs a strong vertical and horizontal concept.
In our design proposal we have decided to overlap the needed verticality for the skyline and the wanted horizontality towards the landscape and transportation hub. Therefore the design has a clear duality that creates a dynamic development which can be read as 3 towers - low, medium, high – or as 1 larger frontal building that has 1 identity. From the Qianhai CBD, the water, and waterfront the development will read as 3 elements, from the direct surroundings it will read as 1 development with 1 identity. By overlapping the vertical and horizontal components of the development so literally we create usable break out spaces between the towers that can be used as sky gardens at certain levels. These break out spaces enhance the working experience within the buildings and create an atmosphere that is related to the international wanted ‘campus development’ trend. The buildings and overall development will therefore be able to position itself well towards international and Chinese tenants that support the new way of working, and that want to be part of the skyline of Shenzhen while having a strong relationship with the directly surrounding landscape. We think that with this concept we have created a unique tower concept within the development of the Qianhai which has unprecedented possibilities for international and Chinese companies that want to become part of the skyline of Shenzhen.
