Background Molex is a leading provider of electronic, electrical and fiber optic interconnects to switches and electronic tooling. They wanted us to develop an attract product catalog application for the entire range of their products and offerings. This catalog would enable Molex to have a ready access to their products anytime, anywhere. It is supposed to serve as a marketing tool, enabling the sales professionals to make an effective presentation.
Challenges The client required a unique catalog app with unique features. The app had to cover all the Molex products along with their technical specifications. It had to be used by marketing executives to make an attractive presentation before their potential customers. Also it had to be attractively developed to provide the best user-experience. There were many other features that the client wanted to include in the application. Our developers had to work closely with the client to get a detailed idea of their requirements. The application had to be completely animated in order to make it highly appealing to its viewers. Also, it had to include an advanced search functionality to enable the customers or the sales staff to easily trace a particular product.
