RTC (Region Training Conference) 18th Kiwanis DCM 11th, Kiwanis General Meeting 15th CNH Key Club 101 Webinar 19th
Letter From the Editor Hello SDA Key Club! I hope you are all having a great start to the school year. Key club is very excited for all the upcoming events we have planned these next few months and we can't wait to get started. Since the new year is already in motion, I want to remind you guys to talk to your friends about Key Club! CNH (California Nevada Hawaii) Key Club has an event coming up that you and your friends can attend to learn more about how the club works and about the organization itself! Also, a reminder to stay plugged in at our social media! We are going to be more active on our Instagram as well as Google Classroom. It's very important to know what's happening and stay updated. All of our resources will be available at the end of this newsletter and on our link tree. I hope you all enjoy this newsletter and I'll see you in the next one! Sincerely,
Amanda Shih

Letter From the President Hello SDA Key Clubbers! I am so excited that I am writing to you for our second quarter newsletter! As we approach the third quarter of this term, I’m looking forward to having a significant increase in membership. Club Rush will be especially influential in making this happen, so don’t forget to come to our booth! After club rush, the board and I will be organizing various fun activities to promote service and bonding in our club. We’ll be organizing events such as interclubs and fundraisers, too! I hope that you’ll join us in these events to help Key Club grow! For this quarter, I want to recognize the hard work of all our officers for helping me manage the club. They’ve done so well in doing tasks such as promoting events on social media, running our Google Classroom, completing our MRFs, going to Key Club events, and most importantly, serving our community! Key Club is an amazing club, and I truly hope you’ll take the time to explore it with us. We’re excited to lead you to higher places in Key Club. If you ever need help, information, or someone to listen, please reach out to our officers and me! We’re always here for our members! I’m looking forward to a brighter future for our Key Club. Will you help me in making it happen? With love and service,
Cyrene Wang San Dieguito Club President cnhkc.sandieguito@gmail.com
What's New!
These past months, our members have been busy! Whether it be volunteering at various organizations, attending meetings, or a bit of both, we can't wait to tell you all about it!
This past month, treasurer Keala Golden walked 5 kilometers for nonprofit organization Miracle Babies. Miracle Babies is an organization that helps connect newborns in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) with their parents by providing transportation and assistance.
What's New!
President Cyrene Wang and Editor Amanda Shih attended the Division Picnic in July and had a blast! Both of them agreed the food was wonderful but also enjoyed connecting with other members and officers from other clubs and regions. Along with the Division 37W DCM and some friendly competition, the picnic was an unforgettable experience. Member Jalen Shih performed piano for seniors at Seacrest village with his family. Jalen provided a source of entertainment and aid to the citizens. While enjoying playing the piano for them, he says his most favorite part is talking to the residents afterwards and listening to their stories.
Member of the Month
This month's member of the month is Secretary Arra Marie Larson! Arra set a great example for others by helping package bears for Comfort Cub. The Comfort Cub is a bear made specifically to help mothers with Takotsubo syndrome, or Broken heart Syndrome. The Bears are weighted to imitate a child or infant to help the client's body calm down. Thank you Arra for going above and beyond! Your service is very much appreciated.
