At Capybara Hostel, I seamlessly merged architecture and interior design, weaving luxury and local authenticity into a singular experience. Balancing boutique hotel elegance with premier hostel comfort, my architectural role curated open, modern spaces that echo Villavicencio’s rhythm.
Transitioning to interior design, I transformed spaces into immersive narratives, where natural textures and serene hues converge in minimalist sophistication. Beyond aesthetics, I fostered connections, establishing the hostel as an artistic hub resonating with ecosystem conservation, gastronomy, art, and folklore. Capybara Hostel epitomizes design’s power to craft spaces and cultivate sustainable cultural enrichment.
As an intern, I participated in the architectural design and furniture project for Romola, a renowned restaurant in Madrid.
Under the guidance of Andres Jaque / Office for Political Innovation, I supervised construction, landscaping, furniture corrections, planimetry, and provided design support. The project received the prestigious “Restaurant & Bar Design Award” in 2018, showcasing the commitment to highest quality standards

The El Viajero Tayrona project commenced in early August 2018, focusing on expanding the hostel by constructing six additional shared dormitories, a new social area, and a pool. As the project manager, I oversaw the execution, monitoring, and control of the construction, aiming to meet rigorous requirements and complete the project within a tight timeframe.
Undertaking this project in a remote and isolated location posed significant challenges. However, through meticulous planning and coordination, the dedicated team overcame obstacles and made necessary adjustments. Their determination and effective problem-solving skills enabled us to successfully navigate the complexities of working in such an isolated setting, accomplishing our objectives with exceptional results.
Bosque de Guaduas, a housing project in Guaduas, Cundinamarca, is approximately 4 hours away from Bogotá. Insugar SAS is the company behind the development, which comprises 16 houses within a gated community. My involvement primarily focused on designing, digitally expressing, creating a 3D model, and generating images for the project. Construction is currently underway.
This project holds personal significance as my first work experience, where I gained valuable skills in design, digital expression, 3D modeling, and image generation. Bosque de Guaduas has been a transformative learning opportunity, fueling my passion for future endeavors.
Proyecta Diseño is a luxury interior design firm specializing in hospitality design. I have had the privilege of working as both a designer and project manager, overseeing various projects and managing the overall budget and scope of each endeavor within the administrative area of the company. At Proyecta Diseño, I had the opportunity to work as a project manager and handle workshop and project coordination. I facilitated seamless collaboration between the design team, contractors, and suppliers. I oversaw workshops to foster innovative design solutions and coordinated project timelines, milestones, and budgets to ensure successful project completion.
All the projects and designs shown are fully developed, aproved and property of Proyecta Diseño SAS.
Andrés Jaque/Office for Political Innovation and the curatorial team of the Victorian & Albert Museum in London were commissioned to create The Future Starts Here exhibition.
It opened on May 9, 2018, aiming to explore a potential dystopian future through showcased objects. Architectural elements guided visitors through five distinct scenarios, each addressing different questions. I dedicated significant time in the studio to this project, focusing on 3D modeling, design, planimetry, and sourcing materials in London.
