On the final night of my recent trip to London, I sat around a small wooden table with my new friends from Bitching and Junkfood.

As we ordered another bottle and raised a glass to the three-daywork-marathon we were putting a close to, our glasses clanked beneath a humid and unusually warm London Night. Cars and bikes sped by on on Shoreditch Road as the night grew increasingly later.

As we wrapped up our dinner, my two new partners in crime from bitchingandjunkfood.com let me know that they shared the same birthday--we laughed and raised our glasses again to their pending Birthday celebration. “To July, 24th” they cheered. I grew silent as goosebumps covered my skin, “That’s my birthday too,” I laughed.

I had just spent the previous three days with these women, working, creating, laughing, drinking and producing our Pre-Fall 12 Lookbook---we raised our glasses, made eye contact, and in unison sang, “Born on the 24th of July.” Here’s to meeting new people from near and far and here is to Fall 2012.
