August arrived and the participants of the Multi Measure Project “EVS+SVE Sustainable entrepreneurship values through E-learning” were ready to meet again for the third mobility activity, which consisted in 10 days of Training Course. Two months after our nice and fruitful experience in Greece, we made our luggage and travel to Transylvania where our Romanian partner ATA (Youth Association from Transylvania) was waiting for us. Cristuru Secuiesc was our venue and, there, we worked hard during 10 days focused on the objective of our project: the creation of an e-learning platform which will contain several online training courses for enabling the people involved in European voluntary Service to universalize, organize, modify and share knowledge. Of course, everything was not working and we had plenty of time to enjoy our time in Romania by visiting the area, having intercultural evenings, movie nights, going to the top of the hill to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower, playing cards during the nights… and many other leisure activities that made the group of participants, a team. Many of us had already met in Lefkas for the first training, so it was easy to keep the good work. But also we had new faces to replace the people who could not come to Cristuru and they really worked hard to allow a successful meeting. And it was indeed a great success. We not only made the final versions of all the trainings we created in Lefkas, but also we plan the evaluation & certification methods of our platform and created nine new online trainings. Obviously, we did not lose our time n Romania and you can see our progress in this magazine.
Finalizing the previous trainings Testing
Adjusting
Testing Since we finished in Lefkas, a bunch of EVS and exEVS from the organisation partners had tested our online training course. Then, we made some changes but that was not enough, if we wanted our trainings to be as perfect as possible. So, we dedicated few sessions of our meeting in Romania to test all the trainings: the ones we created in Lefkas in June and the ones we created in Romania. The group of participants turn their role into learners and enrolled on the courses created by other groups. It was very useful to know better all the courses of the platform and also to give a experienced feedback to the creators of the courses.
Adjusting
After having tested the courses, the participants gave personal feedback to the other groups on suggestions, grammar mistakes and functionality problems. This phase helped us to realise about what is not working properly on our courses and, later on, we focussed on changing the courses basing on the feedback received. By changing the courses in this way, we adapt the trainings to the needs of the learner.
Evaluation Certification
Evaluation & Certification One of our main tasks for this meeting in Romania was to set up the approaches for the evaluation, monitoring and the certification of our courses. In other words, how we are going to evaluate the success and learning progress of the trainings and how we are going to recognise this progress. To plan the evaluation and certification approaches, first the trainer, Sidik, had a presentation about the different evaluation approaches and what are the characteristics of each approach. Then, the participants had to elaborate the “evaluation Matrix for their training. Based on the objectives of each course, they had to identify the indicators and the data sources and methods they would use. Regarding the certification, the group agreed that the participants who pass the 60% of the course will get a diploma which was designed by the facilitator, Reka Hosszu, and it will be the same for all the courses of the platform.
Meeting day by day
Day 1
Article written by Sasha, Miko and David
First day was truly amazing. It started with energizers and "name games", which helped participants to get to know each other. Divided into four groups, they wrote fears, hopes, contributions and rules for the training course. After these introduction activities, the participants visited "Youth Association from Transylvania" which is prisided over by Attila Nagy, our facilitator on this training course and there we met with local EVS volunteers. After delicious lunch, Sidik from Bosnia and Herzegovina explained what Moodle is and how it works. Later on, the group was divided in small groups and checked out the online learning platform created in Lefkas. Productive day was concluded by beautiful intercultural evening.
Day 2
Article written by Shushan, Adeline and Renaud
The day started with the energizer “funky chicken. After the energizer, the trainer introduced the session about the Evaluation process and gave some tips (why, what, who, whom, when, how) and the different types of evaluation approaches (by objectives, competences, achievements, performance, outcomes and process). Based on the information provided during the presentation, the participants had to think about their evaluation plan for their online courses and had to complete an evaluation plan matrix provided by the trainer.
After lunch break, the trainer also presented Google Analytics, a tool for collecting some data such as the number of visitors on the website of our online training courses, the countries where the visitors were connected from and many other statistics which could be useful. The participants who didn’t have the time to finish their evaluation plan have been encouraged to complete it. The next step would consist in modifying and completing their training courses based on the Evaluation plan they’ve created. The working process lasted till the dinner and all groups were tired because of the long lecture of the trainer. The session ended by the Daily evaluation with the “Family” groups. In groups, we had to discuss about our best moments and less good ones, about what we’ve learnt and also make suggestions to the Training team.

The day began with a breakfast as usual. After the breakfast groups started working on the developing and improving their courses and evaluations. Meanwhile Sidik visited each group to give some instructions and to help them. Groups continued their work after the break. At the end of the day, some of the groups presented their courses emphasizing on what they did during the day, what difficulties and problems they had and what they still need to do. Presentation finished and participants went into their family groups for day reflections during which they discussed what was good, what was bad, what they learnt and what suggestions they had.

The forth day of training course was the excursion day when we discovered a small part of Romania. The first stop was at Praid, the salt mine, which is situated in Harghita county and is one of the largest salt mines in the country and Europe. It is situated at a depth of 120 meters and the visitors can find numerous recreation areas, playgrounds for children, restaurant, chapel for prayer, even a museum that shows methods of extracting salt from ancient times until today. Amazing it was the salt mine is mentioned in documents in 1200 and the archaeological evidence proves that salt extraction from the mine is still under Roman Empire era. The afternoon continued with the further discovery legends that Romania offers - "Sighişoara" - the place where Vlad Dracula was born. In the courtyard we saw and visited the Old School, Clock Tower, the Tailors' Tower
built in sec. XIII-XIV, Tobacco Tin and Shoemakers Tower with approx. 164 houses with over 300 years old pastel, narrow cobbled streets, all leading to a medieval atmosphere. During all the day, we played a lot of logical and perspicacity games. The game of the day was: How many cows do you have? We made a lot of photos, we laughed and we had fun. This was seen through our eyes as the cultural day!
Day 5

The day before today was perfect we were on the unforgettable excursion to Vlad Dracula's birthplace, learnt a lot things about Romanian history thanks to our guide Attila who was really professional, we want to say . But today, we have continued working on our training courses which were started in Greece on the first training. We had time to finish them until next day morning and other participants also tested our courses. Working in the Moodle doesn't seem as difficult as it was in Greece 'Practice makes perfect , that's true absolutely.

Today we had an opportunity to continue our work in teams to create new online courses. After the morning meeting, we spent some time on searching the data helpful to provide valuable training´s content. By the lunch time most of the groups already had all the data completed so after the tasty meal and the afternoon break we could focus on preparing the actual trainings´ content. At some parts we worked individually – each group member was responsible for different part of the course. Before the evening meeting, we had a chance to discuss what else has to be done tomorrow. During the general meeting we shared our today´s progress with other groups. After the session, we went for a dinner where we had a chance to say goodbye to one of the training´s participant – Tamta from Georgia. At that moment we realized that our Training Course is unfortunately finishing soon.
