Benjamin Abana has, due to his background and being half Danish, half Nigerian, a strong interest in both African and Afro-American history and lifestyle, mix with european traditions, which is depicted in many of his paintings. Other keywords in his artwork is thoughts and feelings, that he visually brings to your attention in a realistic way. His style is calm and he creates a standstill for you to really dwell on and feel his paintings.
