Super Lightweight, Compact High Power Amplifiers. The Brooke Delta™ series is a range of very small, lightweight flexible amplifiers weighing less than 10kg. They are intended for a wide range of applications including: full range systems; portable/mobile applications; medium size venues; theatre and club localised amplification; small to medium venue line arrays; in-fill for larger venues and low/mid/high frequency multi-amplifier installations.

Switch Mode Power Delta series utilise leading edge power supply technology that does away with traditional large transformers and big capacitors. Instead, small transformers and fast high-energy switching components operate thousands of times a second to regulate the power to be delivered to the loudspeakers. Careful regulation, phase control and filtering ensure a clean and clear audio performance at any output level. The result is very small, very lightweight amplifiers, ideal for compact installations and portable applications.

Safety First Brooke Delta amplifiers use electronic temperature monitoring that will operate the forced air quad-fan cooling system in direct proportion to the temperature of the key components. Over-temperature trips add a second level of system protection if the air vents become obstructed. Anti-clipping audio circuitry ensures that overdriving the input will not overdrive the amplifiers and this helps to protect the connected loudspeakers. In addition, DC output protection circuits also help to protect your valuable loudspeakers from damage.

The Brooke Delta range Brooke Delta amplifier models are just 1U high and are intended for 19” rack mounting or free standing use. They are all 410mm deep and are available in two versions: the BRDS1300 delivering up to 3000 watts at 2 ohms, and the BRDS2000 delivering up to 4600 watts at 2 ohms. Both models feature: variable gain twin front panel controls; LED status indicators; XLR balanced line inputs / 6.35mm (¼”) balanced jack line outputs; locking connectors for loudspeaker connection and metal case with integral rackmount ears.

Compact High Energy Power Amplifiers. The Brooke Beta™ series is a range of very flexible amplifiers intended for a wide range of applications including: medium power full range systems; portable/ mobile applications, small live venues; theatre and club localised amplification; small to medium venue line arrays; in-fill for larger venues and low/mid/high frequency multi-amplifier installations. High Energy with Lower Weight Beta series amplifiers have all the benefits of linear power supplies, utilising annular transformers for minimal distortion when running close to maximum power levels. However, despite the use of linear power supplies and reservoir capacitor technology, this

range is typically 30% lighter than some other products, albeit with lower output power. Ideal for full range systems, they deliver powerful bass, clear and crisp middle frequencies for speech and sharp, tight highs for a complete “rich” sound. Microprocessor Control The Brooke Beta linear power amplifiers are right up to date, using microprocessor technology to control the audio level, frequency adjustment etc. The blue coloured backlit high visibility LCD screen located on the front panel provides setup information, level settings etc. The range includes a memory facility to ensure last settings are accurately recalled, regardless of front panel volume control positions. LED indicators are also

provided for signal presence, signal peak, power and active circuitry protection. Many of today’s large sub-bass loudspeakers are capable of this performance, but only if they are driven by an amplifier with massive instantaneous power delivery. But generating this massive energy the instant it is needed would require unfeasibly large supplies of mains power. So our engineers have taken a tried and trusted method of holding massive quantities of energy without the need for industrial sized mains supplies.

How Does it Work? Digital Processing AudioNet™ comprises a choice of two types of DRC transmission units (4-in, 12-out or 12-in, 4-out) in conjunction with the DRB1 audio processor. Using CobraNet® technology, the multipurpose DRB1 audio processor allows real time processing as well as mixing and routing, simultaneously handling up to 8 channels with uncompressed digital audio distribution over industry standard networks. DRC Network audio transmitters transmit or receive digital audio signals in real time on a CobraNet® Ethernet computer network, and can carry and utilise control and monitor data such as SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) through the same network connection as the audio.

User-Friendly Cost saving and highly flexible, free download software allows simple configuration of settings for individual venues, which can then be saved and easily stored for future use on a USB memory stick or other computer storage device. Compact Design DRC Transmitter models are 2U in height with front to back depths of 337mm, and have selectable redundant backup power supply and backup interface, cutting in automatically in the event of, for example, accidental cable damage. The DRB1 Audio Processor has a 1U height with front to back depth of 298mm. All units are rackmountable.

Small and Medium Venues The Brooke BRLA208T Compact full range “top” speaker is especially suited for touring, purpose designed for top quality performance in small to mid-sized indoor and outdoor venues. Twin 8” drivers plus a centrally mounted compression driver deliver 250w at high sound pressure levels. They directly mount onto the BRLA118S bass unit with front and rear fixing pins to provide the optimum sound coverage angle.

The Complete Package BRLA208T Compact speakers are traditionally configured in pairs of two, four, six or eight units in combination with a BRLA118S subwoofer. Supplied as a set of four in a flight case with full lift lid, they are fitted with twin fold flat handles on end faces and braked casters for ease of transport and installation. A wheeled dolly board is also supplied to ease movement of speakers into position.

The single 18” bass driver delivers 500w. Flying brackets front and rear allow the BRLA208T Compact full range top speakers to be securely fitted underneath at the optimum sound coverage angle.

The Complete Package BRLA118S Compact subwoofer is traditionally combined with pairs of two, four, six or eight units of the BRLA208T Compact full range top speakers. Supplied in a flight case with full lift lid, they are fitted with twin fold flat handles on end faces and braked casters, all for ease of transport and installation. Larger Venues and Stadiums The Brooke BRLA22812S Stadium full range “top” speaker is especially suited for touring, purpose designed to give top quality performance both indoors and outdoors in mid-sized venues and particularly in large stadiums. Each cabinet comprises 2 x 1.7” 50w compression drivers, 2 x 8” mid-range 200w drivers and 2 x 12” 300w bass drivers. The cabinets directly mount onto the BRAL1108S Stadium bass unit with front and rear fixing pins to provide optimum sound coverage angle.
