This is one of the most critical jobs in which the HRM has to deal with as they play an active role in theformulation of performance appraisal methods and policies in the organization.
This allows the HRM to focus on the factors which can affect employee performance both directly and indirectly. Different types of plans and training programs must be developed so that the performance is not only maintained but can also be improved.
The HRM should be actively involved in policy formulation and should have a free communication with the top managers within the company on various issues related to employee performance.
