CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED FOR CHARLOTTE HALL VEHICLE FIRE CHARLES COUNTY, MD (January 28, 2014) – Deputy State Fire Marshals charged Fiona Marsh (47) with 2nd Degree Arson and Malicious Burning with Intent to Defraud after determining she was responsible for the intentional burning of her 2008 Dodge Caravan. The vehicle was located after it had been destroyed by fire at 10900 Allen Fresh Road in Charlotte Hall on September 9, 2013. An extensive investigation revealed Marsh reported the vehicle was stolen in Georgia. Investigators determined the fire originated on the interior of the vehicle and caused the van to be completely destroyed during the blaze. The estimated loss was for the vehicle is $8,000. Marsh was served a Criminal Summons today at Catholic University in Washington D.C. where she is a student. If convicted of the charges, she faces up to 25 years imprisonment and/or $35,000 in fines.
