Due to increasing COVID-19 cases, the Odisha government on Sunday said that it was withholding its decision to return schools for students of classes 1 to 5 from Monday.
School and mass training pastor SR Dash, in an assertion, said the choice was taken later authorities visited different elementary schools across the state and had conversations with the partners. "Keeping in view the ascent in the various day-by-day cases and light of the input given by guardians across the state, we have chosen not to resume schools for understudies of Classes 1 to 5 from January 3," he expressed.
Dash, however, cleared that the students of classes 6 to 10 will continue to study. He additionally said that independent assessment, as planned prior, will be directed sticking to COVID-19 conventions.
