MAEER'S Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT), founded in 1983, is considered today to be amongst the best engineering colleges in India. Eligibility Criteria: For admission to the 1st Year of Engineering Those seeking admission are required to clear the HSC (10+2) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its similar examination with following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English and secured atleast 45% marks i.e. a minimum of 135 marks out of 300 marks (40% marks i.e. at least 120 marks out of 300 marks for OBC aspirants from Maharashtra) in the subjects like Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics included. Placement corner: MIT is considered to be at the top as far as placements are concerned. The College has pulled in top companies from crosswise over India and the present placement record is 100%.
