F FARMHOUSE
Even a room made with spirit is a world in itself.
The site lies in a quiet, introverted plot among the farmlands of Kurali, away from the hustle bustle of the main city. The challenge was to design the house in a manner that respects the proposed here. The entrance has been kept quite simple. The basic concept of the farmhouse is to create comfortable space for the user, as well as create a sustainable environment. The closed structure has been designed as such that when you enter the house it gives you the feeling of openness and spatial connectivity, to the contentment of the requirements of the client.

VERNACULAR ARCHITECTURE Vernacular architecture between past tradition and future vision
When we look at the village in its entireness, the comb like structure created by the streets is prominent. This is because the streets are bordered along the historic private plot lines and direct the growth of the village in a linear fashion along the direction of the alleyways. On detailed documentation and analysis, one discovers how various social, economic and indigenous aspects evolve and manifest in the form of the architecture and planning of the settlement. One can conclude that physical form is not just an entity, but the consequence of crashing of many worlds that make an existence.

HUDCO
Slums are an oftentimes ignored section of the society, which leaves their potential underrated, unattended, and unexplored. The designed proposed catered to the social hierarchy of the users. The entire design revolved around optimum use of the site and generating a context that serves the slums to the fullest. Spatial organizations merges seamlessly with internal and external connectivity.

Slum Lab Why a labs at all?
Economically Weaker Section Floor Plans
Benfits of the “LAB”
Slums look dirty and chaotic, they are also one of the most efficient urban settlements: people can live close to each other, and possibilities to randomly meet are maximized. Social organization emerges naturally, and the overall system uses the available resources in the most efficient way. –Jane Jacobs Conclusively it would be a mistake to simply see slums "as problems, when in fact they’re the solution.”
-Skill development for slum dwellers, which would be certified by ACHR to help -Acting as an example, role model for other slums to implement the same in their slums. -Making them economically stable. -Globalising these much needed hidden talent of the slums.
