AYANDA, which holds the meaning "Born of the spirit of drums," has worked on music projects with Grammy awardwinning producer Jayme David Silverstein and film projects with Brigid Turner (For a Dark Girl) and Kazy Tauginas (Salvation Road, John Wick, Blindspot) as well as a Vocal Coordinator for the sold out Off-Broadway show "Strength of a Woman: A Phyllis Hyman Tribute Starring Queen Diva." celebrating 10 years of producing this amazing musical tribute this year 2013-2023. She is the Star of Love, Life & Activism: A Nina Simone Tribute and makes her performance debut at the Atlantic Cape Community College Walter Edge Theater in Atlantic City, NJ on Dr. Nina Simone's Birthday February 21, 2023.

Happy Black History Month, PINK Diamonds!! It is February 2023! It is also the month of LOVE! How fitting that every February we celebrate LOVE and Black History in America and hopefully around the world Both LOVE and Black Americans have touched the globe in a powerful way LOVE is God and God is LOVE!

LOVE never fails and it soothes the soul and calms the very nature of any man, woman, and child in turmoil I love Black History Month because as a 3rd Generation Bajan American Woman I am proud of what I have contributed to America let alone my ancestors before me.

I love reading and learning about what Black Americans have invented and shared that has changed how the world exists from cell phones to traffic light signs to hair straightening products to computer video games. I want to encourage you to learn new Black History moments you never knew about to enlighten yourself and become wise about what Black Americans have contributed to the world Enjoy this month to the fullest by giving and receiving LOVE! I am so excited to announce this year marks my 10th Anniversary of producing my loving tribute to the Legendary Songtress Phyllis Hyman that has been supported by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, Former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, and Former First Lady

Chirlane McCray, The Hyman Family, The Rhythm and Blues Preservation Society and Friends of Phyllis Hyman! We have partnered with The Rhythm and Blues Preservation Society to produce a soundtrack album and documentary to be released in 2024! Tyre Nichols suffered because of hated that boiled in the heart of another Black man who was a police officer. The difference with this Black-on-Black crime is there was a Blue uniform worn by one of the Black men. We still need a resolution.
