It's Mental Health Awareness Month, PINK Diamonds!! It is May 2023! All month long I want to encourage you to become more aware of your mental health. Now more than ever with all of the negative energy and obstacles that come in our paths we must take the time daily to be more aware of our mental health Stress, Depression, and Fear seem to be the most common mental health attacks the world has faced since the Pandemic of 2019 I recommend that you take daily precautions to avoid the negativity
If you are experiencing any of the three mentioned mental health conditions I recommend that you ask for help and do not try to resolve it on your own There are so many qualified mental health professionals to assist you Please talk to someone and never think being alone or to yourself is a solution There is always someone in your life that you can talk to about what is on your mind I have been a Mental Health Advocate since 2012 working with the NAMI-National Alliance on Mental Illness and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in conjunction with my OffBroadway Showcase "Strength of a Woman: A Phyllis Hyman Tribute." It's very important to me to educate all about taking care of their mental health
