Award of excellent La Fabbrica Della Biennale inscribes the recovering of Porto Marghera into the vital cycles of the biennials. Porto Marghera will be a renewed cultural district as well as a production and manufacture bastion, allowing us to foresee the area as an augmented mirror of the Giardini and Arsenale. New activities related to production will alternate fluidly with the cycles of the art and architecture biennials. The â&#x20AC;&#x153;workâ&#x20AC;? happening at the Fabbrica Della Biennale will be both an update to the manufacture tradition of the Veneto region, as well as the daily grind needed to make the biennales possible. Architects and artists from all over the world will come here not only to exhibit; they will produce their material on site. Inspired in part by Olivetti´s labor utopia, La Fabbrica Della Biennale reconciles production with education and leisure by expanding the role of the Biennale as a force that can re-structure the city.
