Naturally Delivered
Naturally Delivered is a system designed to deliver healing food to those in need of an immune system boost. This design was chosen to become a part of the permanent archives of The University of the Arts and was awarded the Samuel H. Grossman Annual Memorial Award for Packaging Creation and Design.
Inspired By Wine
If you were challenged with creating your own design constraints, what would they be? I chose to be constrained to recyclable materials and a form inspired by wine. The first iteration used random applications of glass and a larger seat. The second featured a cut glass interpretation of the Ravenswood Winery logo and a thinner form.

Increasing Water Retention
Water is a scarce resource in Kenya. Most of the rain falls between March and May with drier months from June to September. Our project addresses these issues by improving the design of the traditional retention pond. These changes allow for more surface area and greater water retention.
Wings increase the surface area and do not need to be made with expensive liner material they also cover the pond during the dry season to stop evaporation.

Making the pond deeper allows more water to be stored with less material use.
Shane’s Confectionery Re-Design
To come up with an elevated package design for Shane’s Confectionery, we first went to their store to get a feel for their old time aesthetic. I was inspired by their typography and mirrored their iconic “S” into an elegant lace laser cut logo.
Paper Lantern
This hand cut bristol lantern has the same pattern on all six sides of a cube. I used cuts and folds to create shadows and light.
Graduation Announcements
I make cards for every occasion, and my graduation gave me the opportunity to design professional quality announcements and invitation inserts. I used a post card theme to represent the passage of time and a bright red to symbolize the University of the Arts.
Poplar Wood Study
Exploring materials and pushing them into new forms, I transformed a poplar two-by-four into a movable sculpture.
Cherry Laminate & Bending Poplar
Using a vacuum table, I created a curved mold to bend and laminate poplar sheets between cherry laminate.
A-B Mold Making
To make reproductions of a form, an A-B mold was made from polyurethane rubber. Processes such as molding, casting, and finishing were employed.
The Ex-Box
Precision was the most important aspect of this vacuum formed box. Right angles and precise measurements along with seamless application of detail lead to this project receive an A+
USB Cover
This project focused on the use of 3D rendering software and application of that knowledge to real world objects.
