CONCEPT
DELIVERABLES
Designed as part of the UK Greetings gift and greetings card range, the ‘Write About Love’ brand/product range was designed to express love in all it’s forms, be it marital, parental, or the love of friendship. The ‘Write About Love’ brand range acts as a direct, playful, unique, and modern approach to expressing love.
Greetings cards 148mm x 148mm, printed on 300gsm coated/gloss stock with matching 130gsm coloured envelope design for each corresponding message/coloured card.
With heartfelt and often playful messages throughout the design range, in a range of contemporary and eye-catchingly bright colours, the greetings card and gift wrap set is a unisex and universal purchase for men, women, boys, girls, and, simply, anyone that wants to declare how much they adore one another.
Gift tags printed onto matching 300gsm double sided coated laminate stock with white fabric ribbon attached through die cut hole (top of tag). Gift bags & Gift wrap printed onto 160gsm coated stock, printed single sided with corresponding colours significant to message/colour scheme within the specific design range.

Designing a range of print and digital collateral to promote the photographic personal and professional practice of Leeds College of Art BA (Hons) Photography second year student, Jessie Leong, influence was taken from her specialism in fashion and bold, empowering portraiture from high fashion magazines with a contemporary and minimal monochromatic colour palette exterior, with colour revealed throughout the editorial design of her photographic printed and PDF portfolio as well as her social networking and digital promotional media.

Developing a range of portfolio and networking printed media to promote Jessie Leong’s personal and professional photographic practice, encouraging and strengthening contacts with both industry professionals and clients (current and future); including business cards, sample pack (CV, Cover letter, Business card and Sample pack photographs), and an A5 printed magazine portfolio, taking influence from the industry by emulating the visual representation of a high fashion magazine, appropriate and fitting to the context of the images in the client’s existing portfolio and body of work to date.

PRINTED HOODIE DESIGN

The custom logo design was applied to the left-hand breast of the hoodie design with a reversed-out white embroidery stitch on purple 50% cotton, 50% polyester fabric to compliment the white piping, zips and cords on the existing hoodie design, whilst ensuring the white kept the design and branding looking clean, contemporary and minimal.

Important criteria and factors to consider included creating a design that was distinct, modern, and unisex with the addition of several male ballerinas to the ballet society in more recent years.
