I’m struggling to actually add my designs to the bottle in photoshop as I don’t know how to do it, I plan on looking up tutorials, however for now I’ve just added the design over the top as if it’s a flat label just to see how they will look next to each other.
I think that my Mexico design works really well and makes the bottle pop, I was worried about colours clashing but I don’t think that’s a problem. I also added the Malaria No More UK logo onto each bottle design so it would help raise awareness and fit with the brief. Adding the text at the top has made my design stronger.
My previous concern about there not being enough colour or detail in this design is no longer a problem as i’ve added in the malaria no more logo and also added more marks and text at the top of the bottle. I think the colour palette is really strong on this design and they painterly marks will help it fit in with the others as a set.
I was concerned that my Costa Rica design wouldn’t fit in with the rest of them, however now it’s on the bottle and I’ve used the same brush it fits in well and looks a lot more playful than it originally did. On some of the designs I’ve blocked the text in with a coloured background which I think makes it more playful and makes it stand out a lot more so that it doesn’t get lost in the detail of the patterns.
The Dominican Republic design also works well against the bottle, I struggled with this design and making the aesthetic look good, however I added more pattern work and added in the text and marks at the top which I think brought it all together nicely.
