EDITORIAL Dear readers, professors, students or merely curious... here is the newest edition of our annual journal ENCGC ECHOS. Nine years of existence and the National School of Trade and Management of Casablanca continues to position itself nationally and internationally as one of the greatest schools of commerce and management, to shine more and more among the business communities and the leaders of major universities and business schools. This edition contains the majority of articles that will give you the latest information about our School’s events without forgetting to shed light on the high level of creativity which has been shown by our students. Moreover, in this edition you will live with us several moments in the school, some of them were shared by all students and professors, while others are more specific to the 40 clubs and workshops which are really a great richness for the school. Between news, events, tips and professional outlooks... all ingredients are here to highlight the values of our school!

The National School of Trade and Management of Casablanca (ENCG-C) is an institution of the

new University Hassan II of Casablanca, after the merger between the University Hassan II Ain-Chock - Casablanca and the University Hassan II Mohammedia-Casablanca. ENCG-C was able since its inauguration in 2007 to join quality and efficacy to success and build up its reputation as one of the greatest school in the Kingdom. Strong with nearly 2800 students, the ENCG-C is unquestionably the first in its category at the national level. The success of our students and our school's reputation is closely related to the development in our graduates the sense of entrepreneurship, taking initiative and the conduct of projects through their participation in the realization of major events, in which they invest their expertise and know-how during their five years of studies in the school. ENCG-C is not just a place of learning and acquiring theoretical knowledge; but, it is also a place of emancipation and personal fulfillment for students thanks to the rich academic life which is characterized by cultural diversity and a lot of Extracurricular activities in different fields such as: science, sport, and theatre. Furthermore, the trophies, certificates, and awards earned by our ENCGistes of Casablanca also make in evidence their capacities, competitiveness and especially their brilliance. ENCGistes 'Bidaouis' are not only simple students but also they are entrepreneurs, dynamic, talented and highly competitive so that they can meet the challenges that face our lovely country. Numerous are our graduates who reach a high professional position of responsibility in their organization. In a spirit of school’s development, several events and projects took place in the ECNG-C: (I) The ENCG-Business Forum (performance, innovation and competitiveness, peak) with its 9th edition this year reflecting the great commitment, and the judicious interest in our students to expand their perspectives and personal knowledge in the economic, cultural, and entrepreneurial domains; (II) The Job Fair in its 5th edition is also an annual appointment of recruiters with our future graduates; (III) The University Sports Forum (FUS) that its third edition has been made this year under the aegis of our Department; (IV) The day Audit, control, Finance; (V) Intercultural days in their fifth edition; (VI) University Music Festival -Third Edition-. (VII) The fair to entrepreneurship; (VIII) The active participation at the Africa Hub 4th edition; (IX) The Ecosport League -2nd edition-; (X) The Summer University -1st edition-; (XI) The day of human resources 2nd Edition etc. The ENCGC will celebrate this year the release of its fifth promotion 09 July 2016 and it would be without doubt an unforgettable experience and an appointment not to be missed. The joy of our graduates and their parents is really our joy; and, their success is the success of this school of the talents which is ENCG Casablanca. Moreover, I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to the professorial and the administrative staff for the efforts they have done and continue to deploy for the success and the radiation of our prestigious school, and especially for the quality of the academic training that enables our young people ENCGistes Bidaouis to satisfy the needs of the national socio-economic environment. Without forgetting to thank warmly our partners and sponsors who provided unwavering support to these young people, allowing them to turn their dreams into reality.

INTERNATIONAL LIFE Lille and Paris IESEG: IESEG has created a multinational and multicultural framework which contributes greatly to the quality of teaching and research at IESEG. Nearly a quarter of its students and more than 80 percent of its permanent teaching staff come from abroad (more than 35 countries), all these features above make IESEG a real international school. National School of Trade and Management of Casablanca is part of a network of 223 partners universities of IESEG, planted in 58 countries, and by its strong commitment to internationalization, the ENCG Casablanca intended to highlight the importance of intercultural diversity and increase the skills of the students to work beyond the cultural borders. 18 students from semester 7 and 8 were able to benefit from this partnership in respect of the academic year 2015-2016. In order to strengthen the exchange between the National School of Business and Management of Casablanca and the school of Applied Sciences 'School of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen University' Germany, and after an invitation of 'Ludwigshafen University's President, the President of the University Hassan II of Casablanca and the Director of the National School of Business and Management of Casablanca have visited the German University from 18 to May 22, 2016 and signed three agreements. The visit was also an opportunity to meet students who benefited from the Exchange in Germany in 2016.

EVENT GRADUATION CEREMONY 4TH PROMOTION On June 13th 2015, the National School of Commerce and Management Casablanca organized the ceremony of excellence to celebrate the graduation of the 4th "TAALLOUK" promotion, 410 graduates for the academic year 2014-2015. The aim of the ceremony was to establish the culture of effort and competitiveness and thus to transmit this last step to a generation of active citizens and actors responsible for change and development in order to promote culture Values and the spirit of belonging as well as the encouragement of the emulation of excellence. This Occasion was marked by the presence of Mrs Fatema Marouane, secretary of Crafts and Social Economy and Solidarity, as the sponsor of the 4th graduation, the President of Hassan II University in Casablanca Mr Idriss Mansouri, Presidents of Universities of business personalities, Deans and Directors of educational institutions, academic researchers and administrative staff. As well as ENCGC partners and parents of students and other personalities of the socioeconomic environment. At this key event of the ENCGC, the 410 graduates in initial courses, 111 graduates in Marketing and Commercial Action, 121 in Audit and Management Control and 107 in Financial and Accounting Management, 50 in International Business. The ENCGC has also integrated into the world of work 46 graduates in Specialized Master in Human Resources, 26 in Management and Sport’s leadership. This celebration was also the occasion to prize and reward the most brilliant and distinguished elements in particular in the cultural, artistic and sports fields, as well as the best associative actions. During this ceremony, which was characterized by its festive atmosphere, several musical performances, and theatrical plays were presented by the students of the establishment.

SUMMER UNIVERSITY

Development requires a change of mentality. It is a collective dynamic characterized by the optimization of efforts and the rational use of resources. In this logic, it seems inadmissible that the premises of university precincts be deserted during the summer holidays. Fllowing those steps that the Laboratory of Prospective Research in Finance and Management (LPRFM), launched its first edition of the ENCG-C Summer University , from 13 to 24 June 2016. LPRFM decided to take this citizens' initiative to promote the values of exchange and sharing. In this way, participants are empowered to take an interest in public affairs and help participants to better understand their environment and to measure the risk of their attempts to create added value. This free training, was open to all Moroccans within the limits of available places. Areas of training: • Introduction to the general economy • Introduction to public finances • Introduction to private law • Introduction to Public Law • Introduction to management • Initiation to entrepreneurship • Introduction to corporate finance and investment choice • Introduction to marketing and communication • Virtues of sport The closing ceremony of the Summer University organized by the "Laboratory of Forecasting of Finance and Management" of the National School of Commerce and Management of Casablanca was marked by a collective ftour in honor of a " A group of professors and guests including the President of Hassan II University Casablanca Mr. Idriss Mansouri, Director of the National School of Commerce and Management Casablanca Mr. Mohammed Nabil Benchekroun, President of the “Roches Noirs” Commune Mr. Noureddine Qarbal And a set of professors and staff, administrative as well as journalists in charge of covering the ceremony The evening was also marked by the presence of the Prime Minister, Mr. Abdelilah Benkirane, who was honored by the President of the University. Mr. Minister, who began his speech by congratulating the idea of the Summer School, which was organized by the prospective laboratory of finance and management, mentioning the difficulties and challenges facing the students of the institution Inviting them to show more seriousness and perseverance to reach the supreme positions that honor them and their parents. ENCG-C ENTREPRISE FORUM 9TH EDITION 2016 PERFORMANCE, INNOVATION, COMPETITIVENESS T’s been nine years now , the Forum ENCG-C Enterprise (PIC) is a flagship event, its organization is now a tradition for the National School of Commerce and Management of Casablanca. Each edition is a continuation of its previous ones. The aim of this event is to create an environment conducive to bringing together 2,600 students who are future graduates and companies in search of skills, thus promoting communication and exchange between the two parties. Indeed, the forum offers the opportunity for companies to create effective and direct links with the students at the end of the student's course, which would facilitate the recruitment process and at the same time the accompaniment of the future winners in their first steps in the world work. On the sidelines of this forum, the 5th edition of the Job Fair was also organized. AUDIT CONTROL FINANCE DAY 1st EDITION 2015 The fifth promotion of ENCG (Auditing and Management Control major) organized the first edition of the ENCG-ACF Day (Audit, Control and Finance) under the theme: Management Control in Morocco: the current status. The event was held on December 26, 2015, in partnership with the Students Association and the Moroccan Association of Management Controllers. "Men raise too many walls but don’t build enough bridges" It was with this quote from Isaac Newton that the new tradition of ENCG-C was launched. Indeed, by organizing the ACF day, under the auspices of Mrs M'barka El Ghazali, the future graduates have paid tribute to the values they learned in their school. One of these essential principles will always be the establishment of an environment of exchange and sharing between the students and the professional world of which they will soon be part. The event was attended by a large number of distinguished guests and speakers with broad experience in the field. Talks were organized in two plenary sessions: •Management Control in Moroccan companies: the current status. •Management Controllers: What added value for Managers? And what is the right profile? This day was an excellent representation of the ENCG-Casablanca, and made sure to live up to its reputation, with more than forty guests, ten speakers and more than three hundred and twenty students present. It was also very well covered by the media: passages on morning shows of Radio Lux, ASWAT Radio and PLUS Radio, in addition to articles published on web magazines.

ENTREPRISE

HUB AFRICA 4ème Edition 2016

Following the great success of the first three editions with more than 100 exhibitors, 5000 executives present, and more than 900 B2B meetings, HUB AFRICA is now an exchange platform for investors and entrepreneurs wishing to develop their activities on the African continent. The Casablanca ENCG participated on the 7th and 08th of April 2016 in the 4th edition of the HUB AFRICA, the first exhibition of investors and entrepreneurs in Africa. A place of meeting and exchange between various national and international economic actors operating in the field of entrepreneurship and investment on the continent. Under the slogan "Today's ENCGists, Immediate Entrepreneurs" the ENCG-C, the only university with a stand at the show, has a strong presence. Thus the Casablanca ENCG students (young entrepreneurs and future graduates) did not miss this platform of exchange to meet with political leaders, entrepreneurs, private and public institutional investors, individual entrepreneurs, B2B meetings etc. In addition, students from ENCG-C contributed to the animation of the first day by presenting a short theatrical piece, which attracted the admiration of all participants at the show.

HUMAN RESOURCES DAY 2nd ÉDITION 2015

On 18 December 2015 at ENCG (National School of Trade and Management) in Casablanca, the Human Resources Management 3rd graduation students’ class organized under the supervision of Professor Karim Gassemi the second edition of HR Day under the theme: "HR, Development lever of the new policy of advanced regionalization » This event took place with the presence of numerous professional profiles: Human resources managers and managers, public sector actors, consultants and university professors. • • • • • •

University professors and professionals were all present around the round table to enrich the debate on the topic, according to their perceptions and their own experiences in their respective fields. However, the discussions focused on three main areas: - Promotion of regions through the qualification of HR. - The mobility of skills. - The impact of regionalization on HR practices. This event resulted in an exchange as constructive as enriching on the chosen theme, recognition of the efforts deployed by the organizing committee and a promising success for a 3rd edition next year.

CULTURE/MUSIQUE

WORKSHOP THEATER OF THE ENCG OF CASABLANCA FUNTASIA Driven by envy, craze, love of the theater, the Funtasia workshop of the National School of Trade and Management of Casablanca continues to honor the school by its prizes won. The ATEC workshop participated during this year in a dozen festivals, cultural and artistic events in national and international level ATEC was rewarded at almost all of the festivals in which it participated, thanks to the artistic and creative value its actors enjoy.

INTERCULTURAL MANAGEMENT DAY

Since the dawn of time, the human being is led to coexist with its own to live better. And today more than yesterday, he is obliged to discover every day other cultures, identities and beliefs by developing exchanges that extend beyond his geographical area. In this sense, management cannot neglect the cultural aspect especially with the dynamic evolution of the international environment which sometimes forces teams to different cultural interfaces to work for a common goal within the same entity. Faithful to her tradition, Mrs. Hanane AAMOUM Professor of intercultural management at the National School of Trade and Management of Casablanca has supervised the students of the 6th class graduation of the school in order to organize one of the flagship events of the year “The Day of Intercultural management Âť on Saturday 12 December 2015 For this fifth edition, the choice of the theme "expatriation: to leave, to return and to say it" is not fortuitous due to the major link of this notion to the intercultural management but also to the importance of the sharing of this kind of Experiences with tomorrow's managers. The program of the day was varied to the delight of the audience; a conference was scheduled where different high-level speakers shared their experiences of expatriation and the reasons behind their return to their country of origin. Stands representing different cultures have prepared a show that will remain engraved in the minds of all guests. And finally, a debate on the importance of expatriation for Morocco opposed a representative team of the 6th promotion and another one of the club of debate of the school AGORA.

SPORT

UNIVERSITY SPORTS FORUM

Following the great success of the first two editions of the University Sport Forum (FUS), ENCG Casablanca students reinforced their commitment to the sports field again through the organization of this forum in its second edition. In partnership with the Student Association of ENCG Casablanca and the Royal Institute of Executives Training, the ECOSPORT Club of ENCG-C organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research Scientific and Executives Training, the 3rd edition of the University Sports Forum, from 31 March to 3 April 2016, at the IRIF in SalĂŠ This 3rd edition of the FUS gathered 300 Moroccan and foreign university students and competed in several sporting disciplines: Mini-football, Basketball, Tennis, Swimming, Athletics, Billiards and chess The objective of this event, which is a major annual sports festival, is not only to promote physical activity within Moroccan universities, but also to enrich the sports culture of university students. This event is also an opportunity to create bonds of fraternity between the students of different cities and revive the spirit of sportsmanship in the sense of the term. It is a forerunner of modern university sport in Morocco. This third edition of the Sports University Forum was supported by the sponsorship of some icons and glories of the national sport: Messrs Aziz Daouda, Nacer Ibnabdeljlil, Salaheddine Bassir and Brahim Boulami. This year, the honors were to the large Russian delegation (28 members).
